Tj Baja Taco Shop

We ordered several menu items, including a beer battered fish burrito that was HUGE & tasted great. For what we got, the bill was very reasonable. My only complaint (& it is a minor mistake anyone could have made) was the fries that came with the shrimp basket were regular potato fries, which were pretty good, instead of the sweet potato fries I asked for. All of the sauces they served with our order were very tasty and much better than I would normally expect of such an establishment. In fact, they far outstripped nearly all of my expectations. We will be back, often.

So cute! Very fun, nautical decor and the service was very sweet and friendly. Haven't seen carne asada fries on many menus since I lived in SoCal for a bit and they've got em! I ordered a shrimp bowl without rice to go and it was very good. Huge, fresh slices of avocado and super fresh shrimp with pintos. Condiment bar with purple cabbage and lettuce that were fresh and crispy as well as salsa, sauces, jalapenos, limes, etc. Enjoyed it overall and would go back.

Finally a place that knows how to make tacos. Talked to the owner, he is from Tijuana and the food was freaking amazing. The guacamole cream was phenomenal. We all had the 3 tacos for 9.99 and I went back for the carne asada fries and the coconut shrimp baskets. Definitely stop by and give this place a try!!!!
