Found this little gem and loves it! We had breakfast one morning, and we almost missed because it’s located in the Houston CityPlace Marriott at Springwoods Village (also very nice). This Springwoods Village are is very cool too. Anyway, the food was really great, and I had one of the best Bloody Marys ever here😊

Reserved tables for a birthday party for my daughter who dines there often. It was prepared nicely for party and we were immediately greeted by server. She assured us she had my preordered appetizers being prepared and took or orders for drink and food in that order. Arlene was the manager I spoke to and she was so helpful and pleasant to advise me on several things. I give her high praise for everything being as promised and having a waitress to take care of everything we needed.

I have eaten brunch at SwitcHouse on several occasions and enjoyed the great food and ambiance so I chose this as my 50th birthday location. My Mom called and spoke with the manager, Arlene, as she wanted to have some appetizers for my party before everyone ordered. When Arlene heard it was a group she recommended appetizer trays which had wings, pork ribs, brisket sliders, loaded potatoes and pickled peppers. I wish I would have taken a pic! They looked and tasted amazing so it was a good recommendation. We also ordered the Conductor's queso and if you're a cheese lover you need to try it out. The consistency along with the smoky brisket is great. I've had the Railcar Egg Benedict several times (a solid choice and I love that it's on a Texas sized muffin) so I changed it up to the Shrimp and Grits. I was a little hesitant with the cherry tomatoes at first but the combination of blackened shrimp and creamy grits all came together nicely. Our waitress was attentive and the entire party had a great time.

SwitcHouse had a great selection on their menu and 10/10 food quality. I got the gumbo bowl and it was delicious. My coworkers got the Cobb salad (she took 1/2 home as it was a big portion), Brisket Tacos, and the Burger. Our server was very nice and welcoming, she took great care of us. Will definitely go back to try other dishes. Valet service is available, however, there are street parking options as well.

I was skeptical of getting the burger based on the other reviews, but also couldn't help but to choose this restaurant as the convenient option. I was pleasantly surprised! The burger came out cooked perfectly, nice and juicy. The BBQ aoli on it was a great compliment that provided a bit of tang. Wasn't much a fan of the pixel, they were sliced a bit too thick. The brisket was also a bit dry, so a bite would leave you pulling to separate the brisket. For the fries, I upgraded to the truffle fries and they were perfect! It's clear they were tossed in the seasoning, not just spread on top. The fries were nice and crispy without being crunchy. The atmosphere was busy and vibrant, a bit loud with tons of people hovering around the bar.

This place is awesome!! I wanted to eat everything on the menu. We ordered fish tacos for our appetizer and salmon with mashed potatoes and green beans for our entree. Everything was cooked well and tasted delicious. They have a full bar and a good selection of mixed drinks, beer and wine on the menu. Our server was very nice. We parked right across the street in the garage. I high

I love the atmosphere of this restaurant, especially while sitting outdoors with the view of the park lawn and a partial view of the water. The menu might be rotational or seasonal as some of the items I saw on the Google menu, weren’t on their physical menu. The avocado fries were great and so was the Cajun pasta. Prices are higher than a normal restaurant, but since it’s attached to the hotel they charge more. Parking is sparse too, unless you valet.

Ambient restaurant in a hotel with good food. Honestly, we went for some wine, shared an appetizer, and salad. From what we ate it was delicious! This restaurant/hotel is located in a nice little area. Great for dates to walk around the pond. Now, let's talk about service... I will have to say, service was ok/good. Although, the server was nice, her experience in fine dining was limited. The prices are not bad and it seems like its not really busy. Probably because its a newer area. Still, I will go back for more.

My breakfast croissant sandwich was yummy! I couldn't eat the entire thing, so I suggest splitting it with another person. The service was quick and the staff is cordial. My only complaint is as a guest of the hotel I was under the impression my breakfast was prepaid. Well, it was, but it was up to me to tell the greeter. I honestly expect the greeter to explain the difference to guests. How would I know I should be dining in a different area? I suppose an open menu is the hint. Oh well.

I was pleasantly surprised that every entree brought to my table was delicious. The ambiance was beautiful in the day time. I can't wait to go back at night to get the full affect of the lighting and water display. Our waiter was very attentive and well aware of the menu. I wish I could remember his name. He work the morning shift, young guy.
