Vander Mill in Spring Lake is a gem of a place. Every time I go, they have excellent service and they have even taken the time to remember me.
Also, the food is amazing - the Korean Nachos are delicious, along with the Flautas, and their brunch choices.
Filling up a growler isn't too expensive either. I would definitely recommend this place for a quiet date night or just to go to have a couple ciders.

Had great thin crust veggie pizza, garlic stix, and chicken quesadilla. Enjoyed the Ginger Zero cider. Sat outside on a lovely evening. Staff was pleasant and cheerful. Can't wait to go back for more cider and to hear live music!

Excellent ciders!! Faves are Blue Gold, Totally Roasted, Fluff and Rose. We had the mozzarella sticks and brussel sprouts appetizers which were also delicious! Our server Randi was awesome, friendly and even helped recommend a few other places in the area to check out while we were visiting for the weekend. I would highly recommend this place for some great refreshing ciders and great customer service!

Amazing pizza and delicious appetizers and sandwiches. Homemade dough for the pizza and the burgers and mozzarella sticks are a must. Ciders are great and all served in a great atmosphere perfect for a night out or with your family. The live music outside is great too!!

Spring Lake location- Great atmosphere me and my wife new favorite food/beverage location, their bread is so fresh as well as the cider. The food comes out out of the kitchen so quick I love it! The pizza is to die for :)

They are open only on the weekends for now. They have no food at this time, but food trucks are available out on the lawn. Rotating line up of great ciders on tap.
The staff is great and friendly, they seem to bend over backwards to make you happy and feel welcome.
Update May 17th 2018, The have "Standard Pizza Company" as their food companion now. They have a wide variety of tasty dishes to try.

Great tasting room that has morphed into a nice cozy restaurant. The current menu is not as exciting as it was a few years ago but the staff is very nice and the pizza we ordered was surprisingly good. The ciders here are top notch and this is a must stop for anyone coming through the area.

This place is awesome, fresh hard cider. Got some for home, the best I've had so far. Totally Roasted is the bomb. They will be moving to Grand Rapids to a larger facility with docks in a couple months or so. Oh the cinnamon donuts are awesome too.

My husband and I absolutely love the environment of Vander Mills! They revamped their menu a bit ago and the food is soooooooo good! Try resisting those donuts with that smell in the air, almost impossible. The cider is the best I've ever had. Not too sweet. Totally Roasted is my all time favorite. My husband likes stronger micro brew beers, and there's even drinks he likes there!
They have an outdoor venue where bands play on the weekends and a play area for children. It's really a place the whole family can enjoy. No one's ever getting trashed or anything like at other bars. I really love it. :)

Vander Mill never disappoints. As a craft beer fan, who's not normally a Cider drinker, I enjoy their ciders immensely. There's always something new and delicious on tap and on the menu. The restaurant offers fresh local fair with veggie options that are a rarity in the greater Grand Haven area and it is priced accordingly (somewhat steep but comparable for the location). It's family friendly and they always go out of their way to please. We <3 VM.

Cool place with great food and a fun atmosphere. If you like fresh donuts, cider, honey, jams and good brews then this your place! I enjoy doing a flight tasting of all their tasty ciders and enjoying some of their excellent bar foods. The donut chips had to be my personal favorite. Come for the cider, stay for the amazing sweet treats!
