Updated review Sept 15 2023 A great Irish pub at the Jersey Shore. The irish oniin soup was perfect. Could not imagine it any better. The shepherds pie was the best I have ever had. Good mix of both beef and lamb with excellent gravy and mashed potatoes. The entertainment, Steve Reilly, was awesome. Love it here!
Original review: Loved this place. Authentic irish pub, lots of wood slightly dark and they had a band playing sime irish music. Good food too! I will definitely be back soon.
Our first time visiting, and we definitely will be back for another try. Lots of great dishes on the menu. I had the open faced hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes & vegetables. It was delicious… Others at our table tried the chicken Murphy and beef stew and both were equally delicious. The desserts wow big portions the apple crisp and the car bomb cheesecake were amazing.!! Love the atmosphere we will be back.
Great True Irish Pub. Bar has top bourbons and ryes. Menu is hearty and honest - and the atmosphere is joyous and positive. The staff attentive, warm and caring.
Go there- feel good!
St. Stephen's Green is a local institution with great Irish atmosphere, drinks and food. Celebrating a key staff member for lunch, tables food was great but my Banger lunch special was more like breakfast links. While the place looks clean, it definitely could use a good dusting where bagpipes on the wall says it all. Dustiness is not good hygiene. But I digress, probably a one-off where we will be back again.
From the outside, you would never believe the charm and warm Irish pub vibe that awaits inside. The menu is fantastic with many traditional Irish dishes. The potato pancakes and chips were the perfect starter with our perfectly poured Guinness. The pear salad was excellent with bacon wrapped scallops, and the chicken whiskey dish was completely finished (no photo). The server was friendly, and the food was hot and prepared quickly. Tip: Remember to save room for their dessert options... we forgot to.
The seat by the fireplace made for the perfect dinner date with my husband. Observation: The bagpipes above the fireplace need a good dusting or cleaning. It didn't ruin our experience, and we will return! 🇮🇪🍀
My first time here certainly won't be my last! Impressive Irish pub. Excellent staff.
The service was great and the place was clean and well distance(they are working at a 25% capacity) The food was really good, my husband and I enjoyed it. Tasty Irish food, I totally recommend it to anyone! Love this place, it never disappoints.
Nice Irish pub and restaurant. The food was good. A nice selection of traditional and Irish flare choices.
The burger and English muffin was good. Bangers and mash was a good size with 4 bangers. The kids menu included the usual food choices.
The restaurant was a bit noisy even though they were not busy. Different rooms throughout separated most tables and the bar area. Oddly, I usually don't comment on the chairs but they were a bit uncomfortable for a tall person. It's hard to describe but after an hour I needed to stand and stretch.
Visited with local friends for a casual lunch. Great Irish pub feel and menu choices. Reuben was delicious and the sweet potato fries were amazing. Also enjoyed a Smithwicks beers which hit the spot. All of us were happy with their meals. Service was pleasant and attentive. Recommend.
What a great place. Food is way better than expected. They nailed the Irish public house feel. . Service was excellent. The Irish dip was amazing. So many things to choose from on the menu . And great beer selection . Lively welcoming place filled with locals . Food is very reasonably priced .
