Golden Corral

My family visited The Golden Corral on Christmas Eve for our holiday meal. The food was fine but my child usually gets mac and cheese and cheese pizza but they only had pepperoni and some kind of cheese bread. Hopefully they will add some new entrees and sides soon... The steak was good and they had a new icee machine that I've never seen before. The best part of our visit was the excellent service by our server, MARCI. She was so attentive and cleared our plates promptly. She was so cheerful and really made our day! I told my kids this is what an excellent server looks like:) It's so nice to have someone who acts like they care about their customers for a change when so many employees now a days act like they don't even want to be at their job...

The food was delicious. The staff are very nice and very helpful. I know that volume is how they make their money, but I have to say that I and my companions felt like sardines in a can. There was no room for the patrons at the tables to feel comfortable. I felt that if the tables were maybe six inches more apart, we might have been more comfortable. Trying to get out of our seats to go to the buffet was a feat in itself. But I will say the food was very good and very hot or cold according to how it was served.

Our second time coming to a golden corral ever and we were not disappointed. There were many options for us all and it was very nice! It got a bit crowded which we didn't expect, and it made it a bit harder for me to eat and enjoy myself as I am autistic. But we ended up coming back and choosing a seat in the very back and I have no complaints! Everyone was very kind too. Definitely recommend coming here!

The quality of the food as definitely declined over the years. Some foods have no salt, while other foods have so much salt, it's like getting your daily dose in one bite. The ice cream machine must have not been cared for properly, it was coming out almost like soup. On the bright side the server was nice.

Here for Sunday Easter brunch, 2022. 1130am and no breakfast food at all. They had ham and baked sweet potatoes. That was only thing they don't normally have. For $20 a person with drink, I expect more. I've been to the villages location and their sanitation practices are 20 times better than this location. Won't be back.
