I had only eaten at the pines location before, several years ago, and though it wasn't bad, it wasn't memorable either. Today, leaving the courthouse around noon, the aroma of someone's incredible lunch hit my nose and I followed the scent into the high nooner and decided it was indeed lunchtime. I quickly found their menu online and had enough time to agonize over my decisions since it was pretty busy at 12pm. So many options sounded good but I went with a sundowner add bacon and onions, since a club sounded good but so did cranberry and herb stuffing, whatever that was.
The staff was incredible. A delight to deal with. They seemed to love their jobs and take pride in it.
With only a couple minutes left on my meter, i took it to my car and indulged. And it was fantastic. The herb stuffing was a nice touch and there was even an unexpected cookie in the bag- maybe standard or maybe because they saw me tip- but I was impressed!
I'm going to have to get my hands on a punch card and go here more often. There are so many sandwiches I want to try!
The cost is comparable to other sandwich shops but they put a nice, unique twist on their offerings. My sandwich was made with pride and really hit the spot today!

The sandwiches aren't complex but they're really solid. Very tasty and filling. It's a great lunch stop at the courthouse. It is behind a security check, plan accordingly.

Great sandwiches and salads downtown. Courthouse High Nooner not so good. Very light meat etc compared to downtown and took forever.

The cream cheese was runny and gross, the staff was rude. They didn't care or offer to fix it. The manager wasn't helpful.

20 years later still tastes great. Bowtie pasta and unforgettable.
