This is a great slow food option right here in Sparta, NC.
The food took me back to so many experiences I've had south of the US border, as well as many excellent restaurants in CA, AZ, NM, and TX.
It's a great spot to relax by the Little River and enjoy some pretty authentic Tex Mex cuisine. I'll be going back and taking friends.
Make sure you have time to slow down and enjoy the experience. So many senses to absorb!

Nice spot. A few miles off the Blue ridge parkway. Friendly helpful people. A mixture of Cuban and Mexican and Spanish and not really tex mex. Lots of interesting places to sit
Enchiladas were tasty. I think the sandwich may require the mayo to be interesting. Reasonably priced and quick service.

Great low-key restaurant with yummy food and good prices. Nice owners and staff. One of only a few restaurants in the area open on Mondays.

I get their Chicken burrito bowl without beans and it is so good! Only thing negative is they need better parking. But that's it. Enjoy

Juan & Marcela were great! I was visiting my grandmothers and we had their special of the day (bistec encebollado with sides: yellow rice, black beans & maduros). We took it to go, it was your typical Latin portions (container stuffed with food), more than enough for leftovers. I also highly recommend you try their cafecito, I prefer it sweet but you can get it regular or without any sugar. A must have if you’re ever in town.

We dropped in when passing through and it was delicious! Such am amazing surprise to find so much more that a usual Mexican restaurant —WOW Cuban and Spanish! We will always remember and if we come through we’ll be back. The folks that run this seem so kind.

Amazing place for having Mexican blend American food. The inside is kind of cozy but they have an great deck for sitting and you can enjoy the outside scenario. With the amazing quality of food you will just enjoy your meal there. On top of that the service was great.

Didn’t eat here, but traveled from Columbia, SC to fish in the river behind the restaurant and they kindly let us park there while we went fishing and were very polite and informative.

Great food and service. Food was prepared upon our order, not before. Five parking spaces in front and ten tables inside. More parking down the hill in back of the restaurant. There is also a patio when the weather is warm. I recommend this place. It’s a bit rough looking but food makes up for it!
