Lighthouse Coffee

Sorry I'm just going to copy and paste my review from Yelp here. This place is amazing! The ambience here is amazing!! Even other patrons are friendly and talkative. It has a small town feel to it. If your from a small town then you know what I'm talking about, it not then you'll understand once you go here. It is comparable to the TV sitcom Cheers "Where everyone knows your name." Only it's the coffee shop version! This is my favorite coffee shop to meet with one of my favorite people in the world (one of my besties). I have been here several times before. So there are one or two customers that I now know. The place just feel so comfortable and light. In the one corner is a coffee roaster. You might be lucky enough to watch them roasting. Pretty cool to watch and interestingly enough the beans are white before roasting. They have a variety of items, coffee's, tea's, breakfast items and sweet treats. They also have a variety of gluten free items. It makes it nice when trying to meet up with friends that are gluten intolerant or allergic. Today I had a Canadian bacon crustless quiche and a large hazelnut coffee. I had a meeting that took awhile and so ended up getting a second large breve hazelnut coffee and an espresso chocolate chip muffin from rounds bakery. Everything I have tried here is yummy and delicious. The baristas are super kind and friendly. Seems that most of their clientele know them by name. It just has a really homey feel to it. Since I'm a Scandinavian and need my (Swedish - Fika) this is where I come. Fika is a non translatable word that basically means a complete enjoyment of ones surroundings with or without friends, with food or without food, out or at home. It means to live in that moment and time in an appreciative way. Plus it happens everyday sometimes once sometimes more. BUT ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS it consist of COFFEE! First Time going, and I love it! The staff is excellent, and the coffee is delicious. It is now my coffee shop of choice. Love supporting our local business!!!

The atmosphere is great, staff is friendly. Every month they offer unique coffee drink specials such a honey lavender mocha, my personal fave! Definitely try their quiche.

My favorite coffeeshop! Staff is always lovely and kind. The atmosphere is great if you want to hang and read, work, study! The drive through is a life-saver in those busier moments in life. And my favorite is the iced caramilla latte.
