It's absolutely amazing. I have a feeling you could order anything here and be happy, but the Dosa is something special.
I highly recommend this place.
Staff is super friendly and the environment is great as well. Food can be made spicier on request.

Excellent customer service + the most yummy food + great prices = Cafe Masala. This restaurant is certainly one of the best restaurants in Reno/Sparks and deserves more than 5 ⭐️ The quality of the food is so high it’s hard to believe you can have such a good restaurant in Reno area. Lots of seating available inside, and lots of free parking outside the restaurant. Their food tastes very authentic and certainly very delicious.
Wanted to try something different today so Mom and I went to Cafe Masala. Best decision ever!!! I had the tandoori chicken and mom had the chick peas. The chickpeas had a warm sweet flavor and I think they gave me 3/4 of a chicken. Guess what's for dinner tonight. The nan bread was the best I've ever had. If your looking for great Indian food this is the place. Foods great service excellent and the prices will blow you away. Thanks for a wonderful lunch with the Mom. Jane
We visited this place while driving to Lake Tahoe. It felt like home cooked meals. Very nice and clean. They do provide great value for the price that they charge. We have tried a few more restaurants and hands down this was the best. Even my mom loved it, and she's not easy to please when it comes to South Indian food :-) .
Great experience as I remembered it to be the last time I was here, which was over 1 1/2 years earlier.
Robert, the manager and host, and his family, did justice to the southern Indian cuisine dishes that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Went for lunch, and 1st time at this restaurant. The service was great 👍 The gentleman possibly the owner was so friendly and so helpful with the menu as we were not very savvy on what what we wanted to order. He made great recommendations the food was piping hot and made order it was very very delicious everything that we ate and the price was perfect. We will definitely be back again and will try something different every time.
I have them this review overall. This is not the most fancy restaurant and not all the dishes are top notch. I have tried couple of things with them, and found some of the dishes more of home cooked, and authentic. While there are some dish, at least one was not up to the par. However, given the owner seemed a genuine person with great treatment to the customers which i think in this business is very important and overall they will get my positive review and business.
