Dickeys Bbq

We live close to Plano, so we rarely get out this way. But we were today, so we decided to try this Dickey's. WOW! Were we glad we did! I've eaten Dickey's BBQ Ribs for decades, and NEVER had we tasted the ribs so lean, tender, and with such a wonderful SMOKEY FLAVOR at any Dickey's - until today! They were such a great surprise, I actually went back up to tell "Julian", who I thought was the Mgr. (because of the way he was welcoming the customers coming in, being very quick to get the meat out hot, and the kind, yet professional way he was instructing the new employees), how great the ribs were and that our Dickey's at home was not near as great. To our surprise, he was NOT the mgr.! The new employee gave me the last in a pan of green beans. They were cold, so I asked Julian if I could have hot beans. He apologized, and immediately got me a container full of really hot ones! SOMEONE better PROMOTE Julian before some other company snatches him up!! Anyway, I thought all Dickey's were basically created equal - but we defiantly had the very best smokey, tender, melt in your mouth ribs at THIS place! And just for the record, the slaw was better than we usually had, too! Keep it up! :D

I usually don't leave reviews because I have decent experiences at most places I visit, so this is definitely an outlier. This was my first shot at this location as we love another location on Precinct Line in Hurst. I called for a to-go order and was told it would be ready in 5-10 minutes. I arrived 10 minutes later, and they hadn't started my order because they "didn't see it." They also weren't very busy at all in the kitchen. I was also told to go get my own sweet sauce out front, which is strange for an order to-go. To make matters worse, the giant bakers that were ordered were overcooked and the fixings weren't fresh. The tender brisket that we are accustomed to at Dickey's wasn't the case at this location. My wife even questioned if it was actually brisket. Customer service was not very good because the entire staff seemed to be distracted with their high school buddies that were in house. I give most places a second chance, but I'll make sure to steer clear of this location in the future. Hopefully, they'll prove me wrong for everyone else's sake!

Upon arrival I was excited for the brisket, very short lived excitement as once I looked at it there was nothing BBQ or brisket about it. I'm fairly certain I was just served cold roast beef... the fries were great but the mac and cheese was bland, as I reached for the salt and pepper I noticed the slime on the peppper... nope. I picked at my "brisket" and filled up on fries... then I went to best buy, I only mention this because I had explosive diarrhea in their disgusting bathroom... this continued into the evening. All in all a terrible experience. .. although that souvenir cup will always hold a special place in my guts.

No welcome walking in the door. Asked if they had lunch special and pointed at wall. I told the man "thank you" after paying and he just turned around and walked off. Not to mention the potatoes and mac and cheese were cold. Asked for replacement and no apology was given. Obviously needs new management. Have never been here before and will never return! Go somewhere else if you want any type of service.

Just came from the stores in Southlake Corners. While in the store, i saw one of the server drop a container and food came out of it. When i open my lunch, box is broken and this is the food i got. It appears they dropped my lunch and repacked it!! Unbelievable. My coworker order the same food with much better portion!!!
