I really enjoyed Famous Toastery. I have the Avocado Omelet with breakfast potatoes , mixed fruit and a cup of coffee. Jay (Johnathan) was our cook and he brought our orders to the table. Our table server was Awesome as well.
I will return.

The ever evolving menu is a treat. There are always fresh new things to try. The staff is always buzzing around taking care of all the customers but still stop in to check on you in a timely manner. This is the best fresh breakfast spot in town with lots of light options to include vegetarian and vegan. Their orange juice and mimosas are unrivaled.

Very wonderful place. For all the times I had been here, I had a great experience. Food is great and I never had a problem with the service. One time I even found a strawberry cut into a rose in my fruit bowl which was very cute! One of my favorite breakfast/lunch places!

We had heard good things about things about this place, but I'm honestly confused why. Here's the good; clean place, great atmosphere, nice staff, decent coffee and menu looks great. The bad; food was slow despite there being 6 other people. The ugly; nothing we ordered was good. No taste whatsoever, not even a hint of flavor. Eggs were severely undercooked. Some sides were severely overcooked. Not sure what the hype was in regards to, but this place is long past its prime. There are many superior breakfast places in the area to try this place.

Unclean mens restroom, service was great, food that I ordered was wrong and late (45 min for an omelette), and table was clean. Something happened with management and the kitchen staff is wonky... I kept going but now I've had it. They serve great food when you can get it but watch out for hairs and vegetable stickers. I hope they make some serious changes so I can give them a good review. A step up from Cracker Barrel in food quality.

This used to be a good brunch spot. Despite a light crowd, our food had not arrived after over 45 minutes. The other tables around us were dealing with the same thing.
The cashier at the front didn't charge us for the drinks we'd received, so that was at least a small bonus. Until the reviews start trending positively, this will be our last visit.

My last visit was the most disappointing yet for this place. I have noticed that over time, the service and quality has gone downhill, but always return hoping for better because I've always loved Famous Toastery. We visited on 8/23 around 12:30 pm. I expected a wait, but when we arrived, however the place was not busy at all and we were seated immediately. It took a little over 10 minutes before someone took our drink orders. We ordered a burger well done with cheese (no tomato no onion), a classic burger well done and blackened chicken Caesar wrap. We had been waiting for over 20 minutes when a server came to our table and asked if we minded having our burger served on toast because they were out of buns. This should have been a warning sign, how can you be out of buns on a Friday at 12:30pm? Another 20 minutes or so went by before the food was delivered. The blackened chicken wrap had absolutely no seasoning on it. It was literally a piece of grilled chicken, a leaf of lettuce in a wrap with no sauce or anything else. It was plain chicken and definitely not "blackened". The burger with cheese, no tomato, no onion had no cheese, extra onion and red juice on the "toast" where a tomato had been removed. I asked about the cheese and onion and the server actually insisted on taking it back to have it remade correctly. When I received the remade plate, the burger had actually been put in a microwave with a little shredded cheese on it and melted. The onion smell so overly strong others at the table could smell it, and the "toast" was still wet from the removed tomato. I cut into the burger and it was almost raw on the inside. The lettuce tasted just like the onion that had been on top of it earlier. At this point, I decided it was best to just eat the chips and call it my lunch for the day. I picked up the first chip and it was soggy. As I bit into it, the overwhelming taste of onion juice was on the chip. I tried another and it was the same same, soggy with onion juice. I wouldn't say for sure that when they removed the onion they rubbed it on the chips, but I'm pretty sure when the removed the onion they rubbed it on the chips! No one offered to refill our drinks or check on us again until they brought the check. Our bill was $50 and absolutely not worth the cost considering not one of the entrees were what we actually ordered. The only reason I gave a 2 star is because I took the burger home, recooked it and added my own bun and the taste of the burger was actually not bad at all. I think it is time to give up on this location. I have had a totally different experience at the location in Wilmington, NC. It is fantastic. This place could do much better!
