This is without question the best deli in the region. The food is delicious, the staff consists of lovely people, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Might I ask two small favors? Put a 'penny dish' on the counter - literally EVERY time I pay, I get four pennies in the change. It does not matter whether I buy a breakfast special, other breakfast sandwich, lunch special, cold cuts by the pound - it's always the four pennies. And might I also request that the sandwiches and wraps be sliced ALL THE WAY THROUGH? Usually, the two halves are still together 'by a thread.' It would be better to have two fully separated halves. Thank you and keep up the great place !
Best Sandwiches. Try the Wicked Chicken, or Southbury's Best. No other sandwich shop can compare to the Heritage Deli. It has a great atmosphere and is family friendly.

I know this place recently moved, but their food, customer service and overall atmosphere is still phenomenal!
Myself and my fiancé love their turkey club and their breakfast sandwiches. they are well built and the quality is definitely worth the money.

I don’t know how these guys can make such delicious sandwiches at such a low price (while they go with boar’s head for their ham, etc.). 5.75$ for the best chicken salad sandwich I’ve ever had… It’s just unbeatable especially nowadays!
I stopped in here for a breakfast sandwich after a hike in the nearby state park. I was amazed to find that the sandwiches were only $1.75 before 10am! We got a ham and egg whites sandwich and then a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. The sausage was really good, I think it added a good flavor. The egg white sandwich was good, but honestly didn't have enough egg and meat for the amount of bread compared to the sausage sandwich. But it was good and definitely great for the price! I'd recommend a visit.

Didn’t know it was same owners as misty vale in newtown (which we love). Was staying at the heritage hotel and they recommended we check them out. So glad we did! Service was very friendly and efficient. Sandwiches were delicious and generously made & onion rings were crispy and fresh! 2 sandwiches 2 drinks 2 orders of onion rings and bag of chips under $20. Can’t wait to go back!!
Their wicked chicken slaps especially with an ice cold yoohoo right out the fridge it’s the most op combo for 10.56.
