The only reason I'm giving 4 starts is that they dont have a good ventilation system. You can see the smock and you smell like everyone's food. Now the food was delicious. It's a good place for a date or bunch of friends when you want to spend some time together .
My boyfriend and I happened upon this place while traveling back to Waltham from NY, and it was an amazing find. We are not very well versed in French cuisine, but each bite of food was truly amazing. The flavors were well developed, and included combinations that we wouldn't of even considered before (goat cheese, peas, and mint! Who knew?). As someone with dietary restrictions, the careful explaination of each dish and how seriously out server took those restrictions was greatly appreciated. I cannot express how delighted I was when my food was served, and a portion of the dish that I could not eat was replaced with another side that was clearly just as well thought out and amazing as the rest of the dish. While this restaurant is far from our normal stomping grounds, well definitely be back!
Absolutely great food with a lovely ambiance. It is BYOB, so just be aware of that! Also it's not a bad idea to make a reservation since they have very few tables and you get the table for the whole evening. They usually have a lot of specials and new dishes so it's always exciting to go!
We very much enjoyed our Christmas Eve dinner thanks to Jay, Marie Paul and all the staff! The meal was interesting and delicious….the atmosphere cozy and warm, we will be back soon!
Small intimate place, nice couple who run the place, very attentive to my wife's and my needs, celebrated my birthday, the woman translated in English happy birthday and then sang happy birthday, then sang a French love song to us, we got the filet and fresh sea bass, both were cooked to perfection, tried the snail and lobster appetizer special, it was equally good, the food is more like traditional southern French cuisine... would definitely go back again, don't forget to BYOB - went to Yankee Spirits down the road and picked out a cold white wine from their fridge
