This is a local gem! All the food is good. The folks running the place have done good! Pleasant place to meet someone for coffee and a _______[sandwich? pastry?] All good.
To the person who objected to finding campaign literature, be assured that the Market is NOT political. That was an effort to accommodate people in the community that was not an endorsement of anything or anyone.
We all can have a good non-political breakfast or lunch there.
I used to help my friend sort and stack the Ny Times in the mid 70's when this was the Salem Market. This location has been many things and I like what it is now.
I had an extremely nice breakfast, the #6, a few weeks ago. Egg, sausage, arugula with a Dijon dressing on brioche. Tastes as good as it reads, I promise

Many items on the menu are quite different, like the turkey and blue cheese sandwich, and all items are very good. Bakery items, especially the donuts, are also delicious.

Honestly Speaking, this hidden little jewel is the answer to many of my simplest dreams. Why? Opens daily, 7:00am. Haven't yet had a bad bite. Very attentive staff. Extremely flexible chefs/cooks, seem to specialize in making any of their menu dishes to order. One gets the idea that the place is from/by/for foodies in an extremely casual yet clearly hip manner. Amazing experience!!! We called a week early to plan a visit to Market on Spring with a bunch of kids after a visit to the Wolf Conservation Center. The guys we worked with were super helpful and willing to bend over backwards to accommodate us. We pre-ordered lunches for 11 ppl, all different items. Everything was ready right on time, and was DELICIOUS. The South Salem community is lucky to have such a gem! If I lived closer, I'd be a regular.
One of the best places we've found since moving to Westchester! Clean establishment, great food, delicious coffee, wonderful service and can't beat the prices!
