To be honest, I was drawn to this establishment because of the building/architecture. I looked up The Yelp average reviews and figured why not and drop in. I'm giving Root & Bone 3 stars based on price and speed of service. Our waiter was the only person working the floor and was completely swamped. Not his fault and most businesses these days are understaffed. Service was good otherwise. Price was a bit much as well.
ANYWAYS. Let's end this review on a high note.
I highly recommend "Grandma Daisy's Angel Biscuits". Best biscuits I've ever had. Bar none. Didn't need any sort of sauce either. Made just right! I also had the INCREDIBLE "Root and Bone Cheeseburger", which consisted of brisket, a blend of chuck and short rib. Man I really did not want to stop eating that burger.

Overall good, but not great. For all the hype about their ribs and fried chicken the rib sauce was too thick and sweet, and the fried chicken could have been more flavored.
Great lunch or dinner spot in south Miami with nice decorations in the interior.

The place is beautiful, the service excellent. Allan was our waiter, he gave good recommendations and was very nice. The food, delicious 😋 the truffle tator tots to die for, the ribs the meat fell of the bone yummy!! The chicken super moist and crispy at the same time. Definitely going back.

Amazing restaurant with great new American menu. Really loved the idea of green tomato BLT, the ribs tastes good and the flavor’s new. Shrimp and grits is great, and churrasco is cooked right to the temperature. Great dining experience!

Five stars are not enough! The ambience is so nice and the food is PERFECTION! We had the 2 brunch favorites smoke pork ribs and super tender brine fried chicken, grits and waffles… ALL was DELICIOUS and the prices are fare! I would definitely add this amazing gem to my top restaurants in Miami. 100% recommended

This restaurant is easily one of the best upscale type of restaurants I've been too in South Miami. Now let's just start with the ambiance of this place and how beautiful the interior is. It makes you want to dress the part to dine here and that's something I loved about it. Perfect for families or date nights. The food was beyond delicious and the customer service we've received is beyond exceptional. This was my first time dining here for dinner and I will definitely be back for brunch
