Las Enchiladas

Been coming here since it open my favorite plate is the mole verde n poblano enchiladas. Kids menu kids dnt like the food usually over fried or cooked. N they dnt like the red sauce 4 their enchiladas. They have lots of tvs 2 watch sports n different selection of micheladas but no drink menu. And 4 desserts they only had flan. This time food wasnt consistant in flavor as before which was a bummer, rice n beans didnt taste fresh. Customer service here is always great. Would i come back of course with the hope of food tasting great like it use to

I think the food here is great. Our server was very nice. The prices were decent. The place was clean. The only thing i didn't like was that she took quite a while to come back to us. Even when we were trying to pay the bill, we had to pretty much wait about 15 minutes because she kept disappearing 😩

The horchata was super good. I ordered the carne asada platter and it was delicious !! The frijoles & rice with steak is so good!! I wanted more !!. The ceviche is delicious as well. I was honestly blown away. The service was decent , the drinks came within 3 minutes and the food came in within 10 minutes. Plus , they gave us free soup ! I am so pleased with this place and so sure come back for another time !

We come here every now and then. Very time we'd been here had been a good experience in service & food. Yesterday however we came in around 9:20 am on a Saturday morning - Thanksgiving weekend. Well, we had the worse service I've ever experienced anywhere. We walked in & took about 5 mons to be acknowledged. They brought us the wrong menu's (for dinner not breakfast) second took about another 10 minutes to bring our drinks and when the waitress did bring it, she brought only mine and not my husband or daughters drinks. At this time, it's all still good. We'll finally she brings correct menu and missing drinks we quickly tell we're ready to order and she takes the order. Well, from here on a WHOLE hour and half - no exagerating goes by and we still do not have our orders. During the whole time she is arguing with the cooks - loud from the bar area and in front of all customers which I find super distasteful! If they have issues, this should be done in the kitchen or anywhere away from where customers can see or hear ! There were only 3 other tables with guests and the one ahead of us had just started getting their food which is when I seen the cooks grab what I assumed was our order- an hour an half later !! At this time I nicely asked to cancel our order as this was not ok. The waitress got an attitude and said well you can take it to go ??!! No, we have things to do and will not be eating on the road ! Not once did she apologize for the delay, service etc... also, not once did she come to our table to let us know what was going on, to refill my soda or to just be hospitable .. she would just stand in the bar area huffing & puffing talking smack back & forth with cooks HORRIBLE SERVICE EVER !!

There are only a handful of good restaurants in the South Gate/Downey/Paramount area and you can certainly add this one to the list. Burdened with a poor location; i.e., difficult to find in nearby shopping center but at least adjacent to (directly south of) Sam's Club. Generous portions and excellent food that will satisfy a variety of tastes.
