Zoup!

Zoup is my favorite go to soup and sandwich spot for lunch. My special selection is usually the pesto cheese sandwich and a bowl Tomato bisque. When I am feeling adventurous I venture for the Alligator etouffe or the cheeseburger soup. Today I went vegan with the North African Harissa Cauliflower soup and a Cranberry Almond Sonoma salad with gargonzola cheese and araspberry vinegarette.

I’ve visited this particular store at least 5 or more times without making a purchase. Every single time each soups top layer was dried up & filmy. It looks absolutely disgusting. I’ve never seen this at any other soup. It’s like they just don’t stir the soups. It’s very obvious which soup sold last because it’ll be the one with the least film on top. I can’t be the only person who walks in and right back out after taking one look at the food. Prada ends up getting my business every single time I come this way for lobster bisque. It’s very frustrating. Please stir the soups so they don’t dry up. Food should look appealing. Again I’ve never seen this at any other zoup ever.

I've come to this Euclid store several times when I got off work at 6:00 p.m. Most often, than not, the employees look unpleasant, unprofessional and never want to fix sandwiches. They're willing to sell soup, but NO sandwiches. I'm aware the store closes at 7:00 p.m., but people should be able to order until closing. Closing before time is rude and selfish on the part of workers who don't send bothered by customers leaving ZOUP & marching straight over to the Sub Restaurant in the same plaza. What is going on with employees saying they're open, but only willing to sell left over soup? 🤔 I hope this FOOLISHNESS STOPS! Fire employees who want to leave the same moment the store closes to the public. (Clean up can be done gradually, until the store closes, then the major clean up starts.) Closing 30 to 45 minutes before 7PM is false advertisement and a decrease in sells.

Ordered chicken pot pie soup. Got home and had soup that was not chicken pot pie. I call and whomever answered the phone says that I could bring it back, like I didn't just leave from there and drive home. Then she says that she will write my name down and I can get what I ordered whenever I come back in, and then asks me to bring the incorrect soup that they gave me when I come. What terrible customer service.

Got the crab bisque, the chicken pot pie, and spicy chicken and broccoli bowl. Soups were great; I think they have those down to a science but this bowl was terrible...not because of the ingredients but because of the prep. Seems like they are prepared and not date checked although I waited so long for it, I thought it was made to order. I had large lumps of rice congealed together that were impossibleto consume, it was luke warm and just not good. If you're thinking about other items, I'd say stick to the soups...this bowl leaves much to be desired.
