The Farmhouse

BEWARE. .... if you pay with anything besides cash, they charge an additional percentage to your bill! They now have posted signs for this. When i was cashing out, I asked the waitress how much of a percentage..... she said 4% of your bill.......Ok food. Kind of on the bland side. My son enjoyed the presentation of the stuffed French toast but didn't care for the chunks of cream cheese on the inside. He was expecting a cream cheese (sweetened) filling.

Between mom and pop and corporate. Great value for your money. Great ambiance clean and friendly. Service was great. Food portions were good sized and great quality. The meat was a hearty portion and the eggs were large. My wife needed a box. Stop and see Travis he was awesome server. Only dislike is they didn't butter my bread.

The food was fine not my favorite but it would have earned 3 stars. The service was not good. I almost walked about because I witnessed the male owner or manager belittling a female waitress as soon as I came in the door. My husband was quite hungry, so we gave it a shot. Things did not get better. Several instances of him loudly expressing his frustrations with the staff. Service was slow. Waitresses were throwing each other under the bus. And this all while the restaurant wasn't very busy. I will not return.

Food is cooked very well. My scrambled eggs are done and not runny, my country fried steak is crispy and golden, also no nasty burnt grease taste to it. The staff are very nice and it has a true homey feel, especially with the owners grandchildren playing. Definitely recommend anyone to come. Food is priced very fair as well...

Went tale end of rush on Friday night. Sat at counter. Took a few minutes for waitress to appear. About nine tables finishing up. Ordered a steak. Only took 15 min. Steak was good and sides were above average. Don't waste your $$ on the salad bar. Consisted of bagged iceberg lettuce with minimal toppings, jello, pudding and most of it was empty. Server was attentive and friendly. Loved the decor and management was visible.

We are staying across the street from the Farmhouse and have eaten there several times. The waitresses are so nice (sometimes you get a joke!). The fried pork chops and the ultimate grilled cheese are FANTASTIC! Honestly we have had the Reuben, club sandwiches, hamburger, steak fingers, catfish fingers, omelets, eggs, it’s all been so good! Obviously I recommend it!
