I was just so amazed at how good and how fair the prices were. .I loved the patio area also .. Very inviting. The owner I used to play darts with years ago and what a fun loving person .. Perfect person to run a bar restaurant .. You wont be sorry .. a nice little drive to a nice little place .. with great food!
Off the beaten path but well worth it. Great food and Shawnda (sp?) provided great service. Only complaint was the weather kept us from using the patio in back. Nice neighborhood restaurant/bar and I left feeling like one of the neighbors.
We went to Pejza's restaurant for Dyngus Day. We hadn't been there in years and we were pleasantly surprised at how changed they were. It's a beautiful restaurant. It has been transformed into a nice looking very homey place and one that we will surely visit again. We were told by the owner that it has been in the family for over 100 years. We were impressed not only by the gorgeous interior but mainly by the excellent food. We ordered the special Dyngus Day meal and it was fantastic. I am 80 years old and their chicken was some of the best I have ever had. I can hardly wait to go back and sample their German potato salad, perogies(spelling) and prime rib. Very clean, friendly, attentive staff. All in all, a great experience.
This place is good, prime rib on the weekend and auce pollack that looked good at the next table. Gotta love a family owned place that takes pride and hasn't gave up like places in town. Very well kept.
What a lovely little tavern!
Of course, you can drink at Pejza's Lydick Tavern. But you also need to eat there. The food is wonderful (try the sauerkraut pierogi as a starter). The staff is friendly and attentive and the place is very CLEAN! I highly recommend Pejza's.

Sit back & relax!!!. Honestly, I like to come here just to visit with the people! The owners, Bob & Cheri are amazing! The food is excellent, not your average "bar food".
For such a small town place, there is a great selection of entrees. didn't care much for the Newfoundland redfish special on Friday, but their other fish items looked ok. loved the prime rib and also has awesome waffle fries. I'll be back
Awesome. Excellent pub food, friendly environment. All the food is good, but the fish, the potato salad and the pierogi are our family's favorites.

Great spot! Mary was fantastic, food was fantastic. They serve a Polish dinner on the first and third Thursday of each month, which was also, fantastic. Well worth the visit, very unique find.

A proud family owned and unpretentious local type establishment...A++++ all the way! The food is really REALLY great and the staff is super friendly. They have an outside walled in garden area in back that's done very tastefully where we all (a party of 9) chose to be seated and they handled everything from service to great hot food flawlessly. None of us had ever been there before and everyone had a great time and commented on what a great place we had chosen -- and that was before everyone dug into their food and all agreed on how delish it was. Is there a 6th star?
Pejza’s is really a great little little local dive bar. Lots of great fried food. All you can eat white fish on Fridays right now. Some good Hungarian food. Friendly wait staff. Really a fun place.
Hidden little gem in Lydick IN. Fantastic food, wait staff etc. If you can eat an entree after having a bowl of their hungraian goulash I commend you. So filling.
It's a place that has some great food and spirits. The people there are friendly. It's been owned by the same family for over a 100 yrs. The Picture hanging on their wall show that family and how it's changed thru the yrs. It's a little expensive for the food, but they all are anymore. The bartender makes a great Bloody Mary. Closed on sunday😟. Got to yet try the auce fish on Friday. It must be good, by the amount of cars I see there that day.
