Probably the best deep dish pizza I've ever eaten. The ingredients are absolutely fresh and full of so much flavor. Would highly recommend this restaurant!!

Macri's Italian Kitchen is the best! We went there for my birthday, and learned of their Thursday Polish buffet. Coincidentally my mother in law's 86th birthday was on a Thursday (today) so we inquired about catering as she wanted a polish dinner as family was in town. They catered for us and everything was awesome! Salad with two dressings, chicken, polish sausage, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, noodles, s&s cabbage, bread sticks...all wonderful! And did I mention they have the best Italian food in town??
Stop & experience this place!! We love Italian food and lived for years near St. Louis and the Hill. Today we were traveling through headed north and were looking for a place to eat lunch. This place was a great pleasant surprise. The food was excellent, freshly made, the “bread” with the large lunch portion of lasagna was made from their homemade pizza dough served with marinara was amazing. The lunch portion of lasagna was large and perfectly prepared. We had the fried Ravioli as an appetizer and it was the best we have had outside the Hill where it originated. I had their cheese soup which was really good and the bruschetta because normally you get a few thinly sliced toasted bread sticks and a few tomatoes with some oil - this was 8 large toasted slices and the tomatoes, onion, basil and oil was in a separate dish. When we come back through; even though it might now be meal time but we will get food to go!!!
A go to for Italian! Huge servings, we usually share a meal. There’s something for everyone. You’ll want to, but don’t fill up on garlic bread. I get Desserts to go because I’m so full but they’re worth taking home. Service is always excellent.
Good atmosphere, kind staff. Could be a little speedier in there but it wasn't her fault they only had one waitress working on a friday. The foods portions are nice and big for what you pay, decent americanized italian joint.
We had the bruschett for an appetizer and then had the spaghetti with a meatball. Everything was delicious!
We were staying at a nearby hotel and got a late start on finding dinner. It was a Friday and the chain restaurants were slammed. We noticed Macri’s and decided to stop before it got any later. It turned out that we got there just ten minutes before they closed. Not wanting to be “that guy,” we opted for carry out.
The Spicy Cajun Fettuccine Alfredo was awesome! In addition to some Cajun spice it seemed that perhaps they also used some chili infused EVOO (which I love)?? We also ordered Baked Spaghetti and Meatballs-delish. Their garlic twists are heaven but so filling. Don’t make the mistake of eating more that one before the entree! Couldn’t complete the order without a pair of cannolis, which were phenomenal!
While waiting for the order and further perusing their menu, we noticed their pizzas. The next evening we went back and ordered a large House pie. Huge. At least as big as the chain store XLs. It was enough for dinner AND lunch the following afternoon for my twelve year old and me!
Don’t pass this place up! If you like Italian, you won’t regret it!!
Very nice staff. Very clean and inviting. Smelled very good
I felt at home here. The gentleman that helped us to our table clearly enjoyed his job and our waitress was really kind. The food was definitely worth the very short wait.
Both my fiance and I opted for salads and those were really standard, but everything else was fantastic. The bread sticks, fried ravioli, and both our dishes were well cooked, not overdone and very flavourful. All the food is reasonably priced and the selection head something for everyone.
The atmosphere was pleasant and not to noisy. Definitely will be coming back again.
Really good Italian food and they always give you enough you will be full by the time your done.
