I love this place! Not a week goes by without being there at LEAST once. Everything on the menu has wonderful flavor. Their burritos and guacamole and salsa are among my favorites. Their refried beans and rice are the best I've ever had anywhere. And the service is always with a smile. Their selection of drinks are fabulous as well. Thank you Tony and Theresa for moving to South Bend!!!
Awesome food! Had the Sopas with the creamed chipolte chicken and the marinated pork (which packed some heat). Best beans and rice I've had. Love this place, I will return.
I ordered tacos while my son had the biggest chimichanga I’d ever seen this side of the St Joseph River. Everything was delicious and I plan to go back as soon as possible!!
Always amazing! Great food, atmosphere, hospitality, timely and great selection of drinks! Hope they will be able to expand and stay open for a very, very long time .
I'm originally from Chicago, I've been living in Michigan for a year now. My family and I were in South Bend this month for work purposes. Hands down this is the best most authentic Mexican food I've had in a year! This restaurant is now on my top five for Mexican food! It beats a lot of restaurants in Chicago in quality and taste!! The only thing I probably won't ever recommend in any restaurant would be the tamales but we tried them here and they were pretty good. Everything else in the menu I definitely recommend! We ate from here probably 3x a week during our stay from pick up to dine in lunch or dinner our experience was always great! Friendly and polite staff!!!
Wow fantastic authentic Mexican food.. On a cold fall day a good hot soup.. With homage mass tortillas!! Yummy!!
Colorful and decorative. Food was so good though. I got the tostada and added avocado. So good! I'd return in a heartbeat.
I ordered molcajete. I've had it twice before at other restaurants. Shrimp, steak, chicken, chorizo. Jalapeño, tomato, onion, garden pepper, and a heap of hot melted cheese. It was so good I almost ate the whole thing. Came with a large side of beans and rice, a grilled jalapeño and a large piece of cactus. 2 cokes, and 3 tortillas. They gave me 3 tortillas more for free when I needed more. 19.99. What a deal and a very full belly! Now I want to try the berria next time. Very good food. The prices are very reasonable for all the menu. Especially since they make sure you really get fed! Especially in this covid time when most places are charging alot more and serving less food. You will not be disappointed. Scott Patzer
