My husband and I were one of their first customers. Can’t believe It’s almost been 20 years. This is the best Mexican restaurant around. Meals are always fresh and mmm so good. Staff is always friendly and attentive. You have got to try it you won’t be disappointed.

I was so disappointed with the tamales I ordered. Extremely dry, some already broken in half. Appears that they were leftovers that were just overly reheated with the sauce still on them and the sauce was no longer even a sauce consistency. I LOVE tamales, but will never order them from this restaurant again.

In South Bend for my sons baseball tournament and craving Mexican food. La Esperanza was not too far from our hotel so we went. Good choice. All three of our meals were tasty, along with great service.

What a great find! The service we received was fantastic and the food was excellent, authentic, and full of flavor. No place we've been to has better Margaritas. Restaurant was clean and the prices were very reasonable. We will certainly return.

I haven't had anything I don't like there. I love the salsa. Friendly staff. Portions are great. One of those places I eat what I love 4 times in a row and then the next two try something new on the menu. Awesome for watching soccer. The carinitas I had this time were the most tender of my life, the back of the fork broke them apart (so good I forgot a picture before starting to eat).

Ordered classic burrito, queso with chorizo and chips and salsa. Got food poisoning from eating the food. It was most likely the chicken in the burrito.
