My husband and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary with a wonderful date night at the Wharf House. We had an absolutely amazing time. The quaint nautical decor and both indoor and outdoor seating with views of the ocean. The house special cocktail Capitola Breeze was very tasty. Our server Oscar was very polite, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely outstanding!!!!! I had the fresh seared tuna, and my husband had the prawn scampi pasta. We also had the hearty and warm clam chowder in the bread bowl. Yummy. Don’t forget to try the fried prawn appetizer. We are definitely adding this place, to our top 5 restaurants in Santa Cruz!!!!

Food was good, pay attention to dinner and lunch times because the price jumps up pretty high for dinner time. Service both times I was there was good and friendly. Views are good and the live band on the weekends are awesome.

1st time to this place. Breakfast by the ocean. What else can be better than that. Staff are hospitable. Food is good. Ambience is relaxing (it's because we came early and it's not crowded). We enjoyed every minute while we eat our breakfast.

Excellent place to eat. Waitress/ Cook went over the top with her service. My bf asked for a stick if butter n she actually melted a stick of butter for us... and the view is excellent...
Imagine it's at the end of the wharf in Capitola. How good does it get.. Love my Clam Chowder on a bread bowl.

Given the location of this place, it’s so very unfortunate that the food was so appallingly bad. There is a lot of room for improvement and hopefully the owners will be able to make some changes. Like no soggy fries, a burger that didn’t taste a rock, quesadillas with more than a lump of cheese and scattered dried chicken. I’m no foodie by any means so my bar is fairly low. Just sayin🤷♀️

(3/7/22) had so good fried chicken wings and the house burger. pretty massive on the burger. very tasty, and the wings had that great crunch. if you down for the wings, go for it

The fried calamari makes me realize I've only ever ate sh*tty calamari in the past. The serving is huge, every piece was so tender, breading was light. It's so delicious. The service at the restaurant was fast and friendly. And how can you beat the view?!?
