Warning ⚠ The reviews on customer service are true 😢 This place is in desperate need of a server overhaul. I gave 3 🌟, two for food and one for the young lady that kept the coffee coming. Otherwise the service is a train wreck. Our table was in direct sight of the food warmers, the cooks put the food up under while waiting to be served, we literally watched eight plates sit there for 15 minutes, while server after server after server walked by leaving them right where they were! Then watched it happen again to 6 plates. We watched two sets of customers walk out because no one ever even took a drink order after 15+ minutes. There was 3 servers, a young lady ?? Server/helper, she was greeting/seating/ringing up tickets, and a bus boy, this is plenty for the amount of customers. I am a server and know first hand that the only problem in this restraunt is the server's themselves. Standing around the soda machine while food is ready to be served is unacceptable. We waited 30 minutes for our food.. The 3 severs were just walking in circles like they had no clue ?? My dads plate was missing two sausages but our server never came back to check on us. As a server I don't believe in not tipping.. But this was horrible, I did however leave $2 for the young lady who constantly filled our coffee.

Got the peanut butter banana waffles bf got chicken fried steak they were both good andnthebwayer is good. Not yucky water like at the creek cafe place across the highway. Cant remember the name . But the water was good too so score! Waitress looked like al pacinos wife from the movie heat w a flower in her hair she was sweet.

We ordered french toast, pancakes a coffee I 2 waters. My French toast & our water were good. The pancakes were hard & not at all fluffy. Coffee was coffee. Service was lousy. After we were served our food the waitress gave us our bill and we never got any more service. When we did see her, she literally walked facing away from us, as if to not be flagged down. We got up & found our own butter. Our glasses were never refilled. We had to get up and search to find a waitress, not our waitress, to get a coffee refill. We are friendly people and find most waitresses enjoy a "hello" or a fun comment, not the case here. Decor is a nice log cabin, mining, gold rush theme.

The food was not bad at all. I gave it 4 stars only because of the service. I understand it's more of a hometown restaurant and there is lots of locals that eat there. I just wish the service was a little better, everything was in a timely manner and the Apple cinnamon Waffle was to die for. Maybe next time the waitress will put on a smile......then I would gladly rate 5 stars

Western-theme interior, big area, multi-sections. Seated immediately, one other customer dining when we arrived. However, as soon as we were seated, other diners started arriving and with only 1 staff attending to the new arrivals, we were left with our menus, awaiting for our orders to be taken. Thankfully, after about 15 minutes, another staff appeared. Large menu selection, I opted for the Pork Chop breakfast item, my friends had 2 other choices. My order included 3 eggs but, it appeared to be only one (see pic). I really needed the 3 eggs as the pork chops were a fail. Pale and had a sour taste. I needed an extra order/side of bacon. Service was courteous.

I just went here today after more than a year to try it because all other restaurants were very busy. Well, not much has changed. The place is dirty and in disrepair and completely understaffed. Despite being less than half full of customers, people were lined up waiting to pay at an unmanned register while the poor young waitress was running around trying to keep up. Management is still in the toilet it seems. After waiting 20 minutes in the "foyer", we took the drive to Mandy's in Columbia.

As much as I wanted to like this place, I simply cannot. I attended a Christmas dinner with a group (20) of people. It was preplanned and scheduled, so they knew we were coming, and yet, the service was lacking. One waitress was running around alone trying to handle everything. And the food came out at different times. The food was a mixture of tasty to awful. We had appetizers and the herbed breading on the chicken strips had way too much herb, too much of it in the chicken, and was mushy inside. We had the BBQ ribs and I have to say they were decent. Sauce was nice and the ribs tender. We both ordered Cole slaw as a side and received mixed veggies. The other plates that were given to others were awful looking. Many complained and didn't eat their food. We think we lucked out with what we ordered. Not sure why the event was at this restaurant because a large number of people had bad experiences previously. My husband and I won't go back.
