Mountain Mike's

Here is what I ordered and here is what I received. Ate half a slice and threw the rest away. Next day spoke to corporate I guess it was. Since I did it through Messenger and they apologized saying it is obvious it was made not up to the standards they have set and credited me another pizza, but I have to say when I went to order this I said to myself, "this is their last chance, if they mess it up this time I will not be going back" and so they did. Now I have a free pizza sitting there and questioning whether or not I even want to get it. The pizza I have to say was pretty good as far as the cheese, dough and sauce was. The shortcoming on toppings is what sunk it for them. I mean come on your paying on average $25- $30 bucks usually you should expect for it to at the very least look something close to the advertised picture. Surely not what I received when I opened the box. I hope they get it together.

Called on 03/23/22 at approx. 2:00pm to inquire about what size pizzas they have. Specifically the diameter to determine how many pies and what sizes to order for a large and diverse group. The incredibly rude guy who answered said he had no idea and did not have a protractor to check....! Protractors measure angles(degrees), and not diameter....This has to be the first time in history that someone who sells pizza, was clueless about the sizes they offer. He went on to say that depending on the size, the slice count would increase with larger pizzas. Really, did you figure that out on your own? I needed to explain to him that different restaurants, cut their pies in a variety of sizes, and as such the slice count would vastly vary, so the number of slices is irreverent. He was unable to comprehend this notion. With all the other options for pizza in the area, I'll take by business elsewhere along with my money. I would encourage you to do the same.

I called to get pizza delivered to the office at 9am the women on the phone had no idea what she was doing. After the excruciating process of getting the contact information correct (after being insulted twice that I had a “tone”) I asked about a coupon that they usually always honor & she gave me to someone else who rudely stated “as she said we don’t honor online coupons” the first women sounded like a tweaker. I then made an order online, no coupon (the online coupon wasn’t working) then when I called on my order status (at 12pm the expected delivery time) they took it upon themselves to cancel my order after I was charged & given a confirmation email. I called & there was no offer to make & deliver the pizza anyways. I was uncomfortable & have never had a bad experience with mountain Mike’s before. I ordered from them at least twice a month. Because of this I will never order mountain Mike’s again. Now I’m waiting to see if my refund is processed . Worst service I’ve ever had.*** in response to the owner** I did call around 6:30 to talk to someone, I spoke to the actual manager who was very kind & explained that the women who sounded like a drug addict was not the manager (as she told me), took my number & told me the owner would contact me shortly. Did not receive a call. I ordered from round table pizza & they are delivering at noon tomorrow they have great customer service & that makes all the difference.

Every time I’ve gone in to pick up my order I have had little no help from employees. Also orders for delivery hade taken over 90 minutes each time I’ve tried to give them benefit of doubt but here we are yet again waiting sitting on 90 min! Was told that delivery driver is on his way back but my pizza hasn’t even been cooked yet!!

Good pizza overall. Good sauce, could have used an little more. Toppings have flavor. A little heavy with the cheese. Crust was good overall, maybe a little burned in places, but some people like that variable. The staff is very nice. But maybe not well organized in the back based on some of the conversations I heard with people coming to pick up. Oh and they were a little stingy with things like Parmesan Cheese; not sure what that all about. Is there better pizza around? Maybe. But I’ve always liked it here. The one thing that might disturb was that on a Friday night in the middle or tourist season the place was DEAD. Not one other person was in there other than people picking up. Over all... B+
