Rudy's is the best Tex-Mex in the area. Attentive and friendly staff, good quality of food with an interesting variety of food. Buffalo Mahi Mahi fingers are their best app!

Went here on a recommendation and I was not disappointed! We got a Pollo Verde burrito and an enchilada 3 ways special. To be honest, I was sold at the drinks and the salsa, but the food was amazing. Perfect amount of spice in the salsa, great mix of craft/Mexican beers, and there were some great tequila cocktails. Got here early for weekend lunch and service was impeccable despite a dining room that filled up while we ate. Asked my wife when we could go back before we even finished. Kid friendly to boot.

I order delivery (grubhub) from here weekly and it is consistantly the Rudy's that we know and love! I went here during college, my daughter was raised on their guac/refried beans, and now with covid - delivery.
Always terrific! Miss the staff (so friendly, like family) and the atmosphere, but still the same terrific tex-mex food. Real comfort food during a time that we could all use it......

Terrible place. Used to go here alot as I lived in this neighborhood for 27yrs. Went here as a kid and even drove here many times from woburn but the past few yrs, the food and the service has been terrible. The food is often cold and quite expensive for a place that tastes a step above taco bell because, the food has changed. i drove 15 minutes out of my way to get their food and when i called to place an order for pick up, the person on the other end said they were closed. Those calls were at 9:09 and 9:20 and the website said they were open till 10.00 which made no sense. That neighborhood has changed for the worst and with the exception of the neighborhood market and Broadway eatery, i dont even bother returning anymore. Rudys has dropped the ball big time and tenoch in Davis Square runs laps around these guys. Hate to leave a bad review but, this place is now garbage. A staple of my childhood and last of the few places left from it and it's disappointing.

Rudy's is a West Somerville staple. If you are making the trek to the David Sq area, definitely consider going a bit farther to Teele Sq to get some great Tex Mex from Rudy's. It's been around forever, the food is great, prices are reasonable, and service is always the best. Try a Caliente Margarita with the Super Nachos and Mexican Pizza (with taco chicken).
