Average pastries and coffee but awesome breakfast sandwiches. Dropped by this morning to try their croissant, cafe latte and an avocado toast. At the time of this review, Forge is well positioned for takeout orders, and some limited seating is controlled by the compliance with current times. A longtime favorite, I used to come here early before work for a coffee with friends or to hang out on weekends. Sure it gets busy but I love the pastries and watching the bread makers in the back. It's lots of fun on a snow day when you have to trudge through to earn your coffee and scone
Very overpriced for standard quality goods. I buy a lot of bread around Boston, and the standard everywhere is very high. I bought a sourdough here for $8. This is very overpriced. The size and quality were the same as I would expect in the many good artisan bakeries that we have. It was the price
This is one of those great examples of a bakery cafe that Is a WOMEN owned and everything is made from the ground up were flavor and quality is the core of the business. Visited this place for breakfast and their sandwichs are really good. It is in a rather ghetto building, but if you get inside it is nice. Highly recommend their bagel sandwich with salmon inside, which I forgot to take a picture.
