Great local cafe with excellent breakfast sandwiches but mediocre pastries.
Visited this past weekend to try some of their breakfast sandwiches and pastries. They had limited outdoor tables and no indoor seatings, and since the place was already extremely crowded, we decided to do a takeout instead.
Out of the breakfast sandwiches, my favorite was the egg & feta sandwich with a brioche bun. The combination of cheesy egg, spinach, and tomato was simple yet decadent. The pepper biscuit sandwich and the market sandwich were good but not exactly hype worthy. We also got some pastries and the Greek yogurt on the side. While the tahini brownie was amazing, the berry & orange cupcake was too dry on the inside and mediocre at best.
Out of the few breakfast places in the area, 3 Little Figs definitely stands out with its classic and creative sandwich selections, but I wouldn't recommend going for their pastries.
This was such a lovely little cafe! Great smoothie and muffin, and there were sandwiches and yogurt I'd love to try. Indoor and outdoor seating, though note there's no WiFi and computers are highly discouraged. Great place to read or connect with friends!
3 Little Figs is an adorable cafe and a perfect spot for weekend brunch for people who live in the neighborhood. Currently, there is no indoor dining available and with limited outdoor seating.
Their options on menu were decent from hot sandwiches, breakfast bowls to pastries. We had their Apple Cider Donut Muffin, Fig & Pear Scone and 2 lattes. We were a little disappointed with their pastries because both were not so good and dry with cheap texture. However, their hot sandwiches looked pretty appealing, most people got one, so we think we might have made a wrong choice.
Just moved to the neighborhood, finally got a chance to try this spot.
Iced latte was great, exactly how they should be made. But the turkey/brie/apple sandwich was fantastic. The bread was incredible! Was soft, easy to bite into. Loved it!
I really like how there's a "no computers allowed" so people don't just squat at tables the entire day on the wifi. Will be coming back for sure.

Loved this sandwich very much! Wish the menu stated that they added chipotle sauce though because I don’t like chipotle sauce. Otherwise, coffee was great, cute vibe, and the ingredients were super fresh and delicious!
One of our go-to coffee shops. Coffee is always perfectly made, the egg/feta sandwich is delicious.
This is one of my all time favorite cafes on earth.
I’m not from the Somerville/Boston area, but I ate here several times while visiting for a month. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Just about everything I ordered was spectacular. The two things that really stood out were the pepper biscuit breakfast sandwich and all of the coffee drinks. Even the drip coffee was phenomenal, and has become what I compare all other restaurant coffee’s too.
The only con of this place that I can think of is the lack of seating/space, but given the reasonable prices and insane cost of real estate in the area this is easily forgiven.
If you’re thinking about trying this place, do it! It will be worth your time.
Absolutely delicious food and deserts. This is a top notch Bostonian cafe with great options and super fresh homemade food. The coffee is fabulous too. It’s a joy to swing by here for lunch if I have enough time.
