My mom and I are in town visiting family and staying nearby. I wasn't paying full attention when looking at this place on here, so was surprised to see the complete assortment of the menu when we got there (just thought it was Italian food). This was not a bad thing, though! Everything on the menu looked good!
When we walked up I didn't think we could dine in. The signs on the door said "take out or delivery" and the tables inside were a bit in a disarray. However, as soon as we mentioned we would want to dine in, the young girl working straightened up the area quickly for us to sit.
We ordered a large (18") pizza. Half Chef Miguel and half Margarita. Pizza came out hot and fresh. Slices were large (4 of each - 8 total). You could tell the basil was fresh on the Margarita side and the sausage on the Chef Miguel side was so good.
Overall we loved it. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I felt like the dine in area could have been a bit more presentable or welcoming (but it wasn't terrible).
Also, sad to read in the reviews that Chef Miguel passed away recently. May he rest easy and in peace.
Five stars specifically for the Maya's Pizza with Chorizo, jalapenos, onions, mushrooms, and peppers! My family loves it.
Our first time and we were in love! If you are all-in persona, go for the chef miguel one. Good prices and excellent service 👌🏽🍕
Owners are wonderful. Always friendly personal service. Happy with the chicken or Rib dinner combos among many other items on the menu. Food is delicious. We order from here at least once a week.
Update: We were so sad to hear of Miguel's passing in April. May he Rest in Heaven. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
His son and co-owner do a great job preserving his legacy, Food is always great.
Great restaurant fantastic food .. I was very happy when Maya’s moved into the neighborhood. The owner Miguel was very welcoming and just an all around great guy.
I was very sad, when I heard of Chef Miguel’s passing .. but his skills in cooking he past to his son and the food and service is still the same excellent quality.
Thank you Miguel for opening Maya’s in our neighborhood. RIP chef Miguel
My son named our dog Maya after the restaurant..❤️

Met with the owner last super friendly guy, ordered the tacos beef and chorizo and a grandma pizza pie. Pros and cons the seating is a little a tight but I dint care about how a place looks as long as the food is good. the tacos were decent I would of likes some pico on mine but decent overall. the grandma pie stood out for us we loved the pizza and the owner for that we will definitely come back. thanks again.
