I loved every bite of this meal. My pork chop was juicy and the cocktails were superb. My brother didn’t love the fish. But I think he had his heart set on the cioppino and the server recommended the fish instead. It looked really good tho!

No reservations available when we arrived, so we went to the bar and had a wonderful dinner from same menu! Also we were able to stay and enjoy a game of cards and drinks. The place is very pet friendly, warm and inviting. Menu is varied. Everything from a burger to cioppino! All dinners were tasty, well presented and nice size portions! Staff was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely return next time we are town. 5 star for sure!

A pretty good experience at Mad&Vin. Even though we had appointment at 5pm, but it took 10-15 mins for the hostess to actually greeted us, it was ok, since it was warm inside and we're on vacation anyway. The servers and waitress are friendly and knowledgeable about the dinner menu highlights, lovely energy. I ordered the Cabernet that was suggested by Kathy, and It was delightful. The Skal cocktail and Gold rush were also delicious. I wish I could say the same about the food. The starters were great, brussel sprouts and calamari were made just right, flavorful and tender, crispy. They hit all the right notes. The entrees were a bit anticlimactic. The tomahawk pork was a bit on a dry side for me, but flavors were there. The flat iron steak even thou they stated prime on menu, it tasted like choice to me. Confit chicken was a bit boring, I was expecting more of it, clunky seasonings, as we found chunks of salt clumped together on different spots inside the cast iron pan they served in. Caesar salad was a nice surprise, delicious with some shrimps and very nice dressing, perfectly seasoned. The servers and waitresses and waiters were attentive, so 10 points for them. I would come back to give them another chance, since the restaurant is beautiful inside the Landsby hotel, and the service was nice.

Took my wife here for her birthday and contacted the restaurant before to provide a few surprises throughout the night. They did not happen. All they provided was a generic card. Good looked pretty but was substandard. My cioppino’s seafood was way over cooked, the clams were missing, but the shells and about a cup of sand were there. Was highly disappointed.

Go for happy hour cocktails and snacks. Get there early (4 pm as the place gets packed). Great service, fun appetizers (loved the fried grilled lemon peel in the calamari), delicious cocktails (blour orange soyr and paper plane were stand outs.

All of the staff were so friendly, the hostess, the busser, but our server, Alejandra, was absolutely WONDERFUL! Her knowledge of the ingredients of each dish and the available substitutes for possible allergens made my dining experience both safe and extremely enjoyable. We had the rice noodle salad, as well as the seasonal market salad, and we split the chicken. The sticky rice was a bit heavy on the garlic chunks but not over powering. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Just finished breakfast. Super fast service, best eggs Benedict I've had in a while and marvelous Brioche French Toast.

This was a recommendation from a hotel in Buellton and so glad I came. The ambiance is great, the wine list great, the service great and the food spectacular. I had the Chicken Confit and loved it.
