Buckeyes

A BLT plate, the "Buckeye" burger, a pulled pork BBQ plate and a pulled pork BBQ sandwich ran about $40. The portions were generous. The BLT was okay; everything promised, the B, the L and the T, were delivered. It came, as did everything, will a nice portion of fries. The fries were well done and, I think, might have been fresh cut and unfrozen when they went into the fryer. The burger, however, might have spent some time in a freezer and may have been pre-formed by a machine. That being said, no promises of an unfrozen patty formed by man were made and the burger was well seasoned, topped with cheese, tomato and lettuce and a sesamse soft seed bun. They made the call to put the patty on the bacon. I think I like it better that way. The pulled pork was outstanding. The BBQ sauce was on the side and of the sweet and sticky variety. The mac and cheese was great and of the creamy variety. The service was fine and the server was kind. She had good people skills and let us know about some of the upcoming dinner events. We may take her up on the invite.

This place has become a staple in Social Circle cuisine. The staff are super friendly, kind, and very very helpful. The food is super delicious and freshly made plus they make food that you can't get anywhere else in Social Circle. I highly recommend to anybody in the area that wants some good ol southern home cooking.
