This is the best place to eat in Aspen. The wait staff was considerate, the atmosphere was perfect and the German food was some of the best I've had. I got the red deer, schnitzel, brats, potato pancakes, mussels, and apple strudel. All good choices. Make sure you take the opportunity to get here on your visit to Aspen. You will not be disappointed!

Dinner was amazing, they are having a server shortage, but our server. Illinois I think, was great. We had the escargot and the wienerschnitzel. The escargot was huge so we had to have a doggy bag for the left overs. Great place.

Our server (from Bulgaria) was the perfect level of attentive and informative. I ordered the Red Deer rare as I watched a deer eat the flowers by the stairs. Wonderful chocolate fondue dessert. Don't miss this place!!

The edge restaurant was average. The food was very good. My mom and dad had the chicken and veal schnitzel and it was tasty and flavorful. The fondue was awesome and the apple strudel was great. Our waitress was not enthusiastic and seemed uninterested. She was much more attentive to the table behind us for some reason. We almost had to wait for our drinks and food took kind of a long time to come out. Overall I do not know if I would come back to this place. There are many other restaurants in the area that are better.

We couldn't be happier with the Edge! Very cordial accommodating stuff, fantastic schnitzel and wurst, - be careful some wurst was quite spicy, - great value too. Worth the uphill clime, but if you're staying at timberline - look no further! German menu with many other choices no matter what your preference. Highly recommended!

Onsite restaurant at timberline condominiums. Small, quiet place with an interesting variety. Everything was great and when they say the sausage is very spicy they mean it.

An excellent restaurant inside Timberline Condominium. It is a nice one and it recreates the atmosphere of an Austrian hotel close to the ski area. The food is international but with a meaningful Austrian/Alpine inspiration. Price is reasonable, service is excellent, wine list is good.
