Great place! We found this place in June of 2012. We hit Minervini's up first thing Sunday at 6:10AM for 2 dozen bagels and 2lbs of cream cheese. I'm sure this is just the first visit for our 2013 vacation. Awesome cream cheese! We will definitely come back next time we are visiting Topsail Island and Sneads Ferry.
Great bagels (perfect texture) and breakfast sandwiches. They have a nice selection of bagels, cream cheeses and beverages to include hand-crafted lattes.
This place is awesome for breakfast - and they are open really early! Freshly baked bagels and baked goods, plus espresso drinks.
Great place! We will definitely come back next time we are visiting Topsail Island and Sneads Ferry.

Regular morning stop. I've lived in Sneads Ferry for about 6 years now, and go here about once a week. The food is good, although getting orders right is hit-or-miss sometimes. Paul does an excellent job of managing the place, and pays attention to his local clientele...smart, as we are the ones who keep the doors open in the off season!
Our weekly trips would be more often if the prices were a bit lower, but I'd do the same thing given a tourist-driven summer season.
If you are in the area, this is a great place to pick up breakfast. If you are a local, get to know Paul and some of the staff...it's a good place.

Best New York tasting bagels. This comes from a man that lived in NY for over 50 years. Best tasting food, great service, professional and friendly. These folks not not only know how to treat a customer, they serve excellent food at a reasonable price. Clean, well organized store. Hands down I give them 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you for a great breakfast.
Update. During my visit to NC, I visited this store three times. Very consistent service great food and friendly service. These folks really know how to run a business. The entire staff not only worked hard to process the orders, but when business was slow, they worked just as hard to clean and prepare additional food. It’s really nice to see a well run operation that knows how to serve the customer.
We went out of our way to find this place on St. Patrick's Day for the Ruben and a hot Pastrami. Both were delicious but the Ruben was to die for. And then we shared a chocolate turnover...yum yum!!
Fantastic food with amazing service! I can't even begin explain how delicious the food is here! They have the tastiest chicken cutlets and so many other bagel sandwich ideas. I've never had a chicken sandwich with a bagel as the bread and I was shocked to find out how good it is! I've tried to recreate the "Bubbalicious"(highly recommended) but I just can't seem to do it like Minervinis. I will definitely be coming back during my next trip to Surf City! Our family stops in every visit to the beach for bagels, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches. Great service and atmosphere, and an abundant selection of bagels and pastries. A visit to this establishment has become a tradition for us; make it one for you too!
4.5 This place makes a really good breakfast sandwich and they have flagels!! I was super excited to see a flagel option. They let you choose your meat and how you want your egg and type of cheese. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with the egg over medium and cheddar...sooo yummy and the egg was perfect.
There is a small seating area inside and more seating outside.
They lost .5 because the order took around 10-15 minutes for one sandwich. I appreciate the fresh order but was able to watch them putting the sandwiches together and wrapping so sloooowly, and watched as my sandwich sat for a few minutes until being brought to me. There were 2-3 orders ahead of me (mostly takeout) and I watched how slowly the process took. It was a Saturday morning around 9am....not a crowd and no line. It was mostly teenagers and they needed a shot of energy to get the food moving.
Good food, careful ordering more than 4 items as something will get messed up. This time it’s the wrong type of cream cheese we ordered.
A great option if you don't want a heavy meal. You can turn a bagel sandwich into a heavy meal, but you don't have too.
Staff was very nice and thoughtfully packed our order. Only issue that I had was that I wanted to see more color on the bagels. They were cooked, but not the color I normally see.
I am guessing it is for the final toasting for sandwiches, etc. Or they just were a little quick the day we were there.
Good food, so will go back the next time we are down there and see if that was a one off. They are 5 stars otherwise.
It's the closest thing to NY deli that you will get! Breakfast sandwiches are always good and there baked goods are delicious. I recommend ordering a head of time during the beach season just because they do get busy.
Amazing Bagels, amazing service, always with a smile. They have an assortment of tasty cream cheeses and a great selection of flavored bagels, sandwiches, specials and the music is pretty dope too. I've been there a few times and on my last visit I had a BLT on a garlic bagel with vegetable cream cheese, super super dope.
