Ruby Tuesday

I never thought I'd say this about a chain, but this place had the best tater tots I've ever had! I don't know what magic they used, but they were super crunchy, not greasy, and each one was perfect! The burger I had there was wonderful. One of the best I've ever had from a chain! This place is off the beaten path, only went there because it was close to a hotel I was visiting. If you're in the area, I'd definitely check it out. Oh, and my server was excellent!

Very polite and attentive staff. The triple play was a great sample of shrimp, chicken strips, and ribs. The chicken and shrimp were very good, while the ribs were decent because they were slightly chewy with a slight jerky texture. The mega size beer is basically a mini personal keg. The salad bar had a lot of different and interesting things on it that I would like to try on my next visit!

The salad bar was good. Hard to screw up when you make your own plate. Bacon was real. Service was average, meaning I had to ask for a refill. I ordered ribs: they are not fall off the bone as stated in the menu. I mentioned that to the server and he said he could bring me something else because they were out of ribs which means they all sucked or I got the trash they refused to throw out. I didn't send them back because you only get one chance per meal to do it right. When I told the manager on the way out, he said I should have said something. I thought I was. Maybe he meant during the meal but I had done that too, just not directly to him. This was a meal for my wife's birthday: not impressed.

Food was completely overcooked. Tomato was the size of a 50 cent piece and bartender was rude when I asked her about it. Sandwich was soggy. I had to ask for my food because it took 15 minutes longer than they promised. They weren't busy. I am so disappointed. I will post picture of digusting food. DO NOT EAT AT THE RUBY TUESDAYS IN SMYRNA, TENNESSEE.

Placed an order over the phone. Waited over 45 minutes for the order. There were only about 12 people in the whole restaurant. They ran out of French fries. Did not include the right side dishes. The ribs were dry and steak was blood red for medium. People left the bar because no one was serving them. People came into the bar because no one came to their table. The bartender was just totally confused. Never again.

My wife and I went here for our four-year anniversary, and were deeply underwhelmed. The complimentary biscuits were tiny and had no condiments. I ordered Jumbo Skewered Shrimp and I got 9 of the smallest shrimp I've ever eaten. The server confirmed the portion size of the shrimp was correct - that was disappointing. My wife ordered the Buffalo Chicken Minis Combo, which came as two (very small) chicken tenders in roll-type buns with fries. This meal was definitely not worth the $37 we paid just to get out. It was double what we thought was a fair price for that amount and quality of food. The service wasn't very good either. The server was quick and got the job done, but never made eye contact beyond the bare minimum and was just checking off boxes until we'd pay and leave. We felt like the server didn't care at all about giving good service.

Servers are decently knowledgeable about the menu, prices are what you would expect. Can not cook a burger to temp to save their life, been giving them chances off and on for 3 years. Salad bar has never run out of anything whole I have been here and is, for the most part, exceptionally clean and kept up. Recommended, but not for a burger.
