Holt Lake Bar-b-que & Seafood

Hi🙂 This was our very first time eating at Holt Lake. My husband and I both ordered seafood. I had the combination platter, the scallops were excellent, the shrimp were over done, clam strips and baby flounder were good. My husband ordered the all you can eat trout, the taste was good and it was hot. I will say the seafood could use a nice batter that has season to it and actually stays on it. Our waitress was very nice. I wish I knew her name, so I could give her credit. She did have a big party come in after we received our food, so she relied on one of the other waitresses to watch over her tables. Which was fine, but her stand in was slow and not always around when you needed more sweet tea. Which is a very big pet peeve of my husband's. But it was really good, the service was good over all, the prices were great(ur plate is full). We will go back.

My family and I visit Holt Lake at least 3 times a week and we love it!! The food is always hot and delicious!! They have a wide selection of choices on the menu. Sometimes it's hard to decide on what u want because everything on the menu is good! Workers are super courteous too. If you're looking for good ol' finger lickin' good food at a good price, check out Holt Lake!!

We stopped in here to have lunch on a Saturday. It was a group of 7 of us in we did the family style. The food was good and the service was great. If you are in the area and looking for shrimp, Flounder, fried chicken, barbecue, and all of the trimmings then this will be a great place. The only negative thing I can say is that it seemed like the tables were really small. The staff is super friendly and they accommodated us as we celebrated a birthday. There is a drive thru window and large dining area. Plenty of parking. We didn't have to wait either. Good food with good people. Enjoy! I highly recommend.

Happy Happy Happy. Great job with the food...it was hot and well portioned. AC was working nice on this hot Carolina day and service was on point. The price per plate was a dollar or two more than we would pay at comparable BBQ spots...but we felt the quality, taste and portions far exceeded that increase.

We been coming here for years and I would usually give 5 stars because the place is very clean 100 waitress are very acomadating and Owner is friendly- this is January- 2019 we had dinner there a couple weeks ago and my husband and I both got pork chops his were Grilled/small & dry / I got fried a very nice size / but very Greasy couldn't eat them there brought them home and arefrided them the next day and they were delicious!! Please don't let the 4 stars stop you from going it's a great place to eat and everybody has bad days. 9 times out of 10 every thing comes out fine. 😋

We live an hour and a half away, so we dont get up that way often, but when we go to the nearby outlets this place is a can't miss. I always get pulled pork, which is fabulous, but last trip I got the BBQ and fried chicken platter. The chicken was up there with the best I've ever had. Servings are so large its hard to finish, even for a big eater like me.
