Basta Pasta

My husband and I ordered two pasta dishes and his meal was a normal sized portion we would expect but the amount of gnocchi in my portion was pathetic. My husband had already eaten a 1/3 of his dish in the pictures included and still had a significantly bigger portion left than what I had even started with. I only had a bite of the meatball and there's barely any gnocchi in my portion. Not worth the $20 and was only okay

Went to Basta Pasta as a group of 6 and had a great time. The portions were large and the food was delicious. My chicken parm hit the spot and I took half of it home wjth me…actually everyone at the table took leftovers home! We didn’t order any pizza but it looked good- other than my chicken parm my table mates ordered pasta dishes. We did order fried mozzarella and calamari as apps- good portions and both were tasty. They have a few beers on draft plus a wine and beer fridge. There’s also a cocktail menu- to me it looked like some of the drinks were more summer-y (since it’s November) but maybe they don’t update the cocktail menu often. All of the menus on the website were accurate and the restaurant uses a QR code to take you to the menu on the website to order from. It’s definitely good casual Italian dining. The parking lot fills up quickly so we parked in the lot across the street.

Reservations DO NOT guarantee a table inside! We arrived on time and were told we'd be sitting outside, even though there were empty tables inside. It was hot, sunny, and the open air bar behind the tables had a live band playing. ALSO sitting outside we had to put up with loud cars, motorcycles all revving their motors as well as the table being next to the parking lot! We could not hear ourselves talking! It was horrible! Furthermore the food was average at best. This was my first and last visit to Basta Pasta. I was totally disappointed and regret choosing it for our dinner with friends.
