Very good ratio of cost/quality! You have to have the right expectation for this place - this is not “fine dining” but this is an old school american eatery that has all the great unhealthy and tasty options - my choice this time were BBQ ribs (takeout), for 25$ really great portion and it fell right off the bone. They also have an old school wraparound bar with regulars sitting at it. The photo only shows 60% of the rack that came with the package.

Service was great. Restaurant and bar were clean. We started with the hot crab melt away appetizer which was fantastic! My wife got a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant which she really enjoyed. For me however the burger really fell flat. Just completely under seasoned. It was juicy and cooked to my liking, just lacked any real flavor. The poppyseed bun was nice however. I’d give it another shot since everything else was excellent!

I really appreciate the consistently good food at this local restaurant. The staff is always attentive and nice to deal with. My favorite is their cheddar burger but I’ve also had an excellent prime rib as well. Their chocolate cake dessert is also delicious. They have a large bar when you walk in the door, but they also have indoor and outdoor seating currently. Parking is easy on site. Definitely worth a visit and frequented by locals.

The service was great, staff was very friendly and attentive. The downsides are the dining area where we sat was a bit .......cozy. Tables were on the smaller side and tightly spaced. The menu was expansive, a lot to choose from. The nachos were pretty good, and ultimate fries were delicious, however the cheeseburgers were not our favorite. They weren't bad, just nothing "wow" about them. Perhaps there is a better option on the menu that would sway me otherwise, but I ordered a burger.

The drinks were strong and delicious, the potato skins were crispy and so comforting. It’s a home-y bar where it seems like the locals go for some good comfort food. Really happy I got to pop in and give them a shot. I can’t picture going here for a sit down dinner but I’m sure they have some great dinner items. I’d love to come back and try a few appetizers to see how good the food really is

So Tigers Tale has been a staple in Montgomery for 35 years. In all that time the menu has pretty much stayed the same... and the decor too. There are two sides of the restaurant... the bar side and the dining side. The bar has room for at least 40 in addition to high tops and a couple.of booths. The dining side has a ton of tables of different sizes to fit your group. Food is generally very good. Selections range from chicken wings to full dinners. This time I had the Tigers Tale "original"... a breast of bbq chicken on a garlic toasted roll. Spicy and flavorful but definitely more bread than chicken. The fries are hand cut and really tasty. If I have one compliant about this place is that the liquor...at least the beers anyway... are, I think, expensive. While they have an excellent selection with 24 beers on tap, there is no price list so you have no idea what you will be paying. I had a Smithwicks from the tap and it came in at $7.99. My two beers were more than the entree! However, based on the crowd for a Monday night and the amount liquor consumed I can only assume that no one really cares. So try it out. I'm sure you will be satisfied.

Food was delicious! Our server was great at helping us decide what to order, and very friendly. For our app we had the little neck clams, and they were fresh and delicious. For our dinners we had the Rack of ribs, and the pulled pork sandwich. Both dinners were just perfect! Loved this place!
