Pizza Hut

Ordered my pizza at 6:24, got a confirmation email that my order would be delivered at 6:50. I called Pizza Hut at 7:10 and was told they didnt have my order and that I should check which location I put the order to. I order from this location quite often and this has never happened before but they some how lost my order completely. I finally recieved my order at 7:47. Was not offered to get it free or anything for their mess up. Which I believe getting my order over an hour late, I shouldnt have had to pay for it.

My initial order was over the phone. That call was disconnected and no one called me back and when I called back I was immediately put on hold and not even given the chance to ask if my order was completed. I needed this pizza for a reading reward at 1:30 for my students who had reached their goal( not related to Book It) so I went online and ordered. Then I had two pizzas delivered when I only needed one. Just frustrated that no one called me back to ensure that I knew my pizza was for sure ordered and would be delivered. And then the extra pizza was wasted.

The delivery drivers are quick and always nice, but the food is subpar. If I pay $2.25 for extra cheese I get a pizza with more sauce than cheese, if I do not pay for extra cheese, I get a smathering of cheese. The pizza is either overcooked or undercooked and I have to recook it in my oven, which dries out the pizza, or I get cheesesticks (which cost $6.99) and the cheese on top is burnt but the bread on the bottom is soggy like it was soaked in water before boxing. The food 90% of the time gets thrown away. Not to mention the one time my entire order was burnt, like black burnt, and I was given a store credit for a portion of my cost as opposed to the entire order (even with pictures sent). I only order from this place because its close to my house, but it gets more and more disappointing. I understand no one wants to work, places are understaffed, but how hard is it to be consistent with food? Same amount of cheese, same amount of sauce, same amount of toppings. Its like someone just grabs whatever they grab and that is what you get, it doesnt matter if you pay more for extra toppings or not, you just get what they give you. Yes, I am overly disappointed after my last order of soggy / overcooked cheesesticks, overly sauced pizza, and undercooked pizza dough. I mean come on -- spending near $50 for pizza (including the delivery fee) and getting way below average, worse than store bought pizza, is disappointing and honestly makes me never want to order (from what used to be my favorite pizza chain) again.
