Food is hot and to order. Has a good drive thru set up. The lobby is clean and spotless. I prefer the N. Cliff location. The service here is questionable. They definitely dont wanna be here except maybe the prep cook, he seemed focused and running the kitchen well. No eye contact and they definitely dont care to take your order since the food tends to sell itself. The lobby has a weird set up where the the lobby and front counter are separated by a dividing wall. I get a good view of Nick's Gyros but joy of my car. How does that work? If you HAVE to eat I'd least say try the one on Minnesota, N. Cliff or only do a simple order using drive thru that way you won't be as easily annoyed. For the 18 dollars I spent I could have spent 3 more and had a Japanese Ramen House noodles at Ramen Fuji (on Minnesota as well)

I did attempt to eat this nasty thing… but all I have to say how in hell do these people think they are worth $15 an hour. Disgusting and horrible attitudes. They had us pull forward to wait for food, thinking this meant everything would come out hot and fresh I guess not.. we loved taco johns, but sad to say we won’t be returning as quality at all locations has gone down hill.

Breakfast burrito was really good. There were some issues with the drink station out in the main area and had to work with staff to get drinks. They seemed a little put off by having to help, but they did seem a little bit short staffed. All in all a good breakfast.

Well I went there to get a bowl and what I get is more sauce and guacamole than anything else and with the vanilla mocha that I got it was just filled with ice and the drink tasted like water.

Don’t bother going to Taco Bell because taco John’s has some damn good food and I didn’t have diarrhea the next day 10/10 would eat there again.

Well thanks to Covid, they now charge for sides of jalapeños & pico de gallo - 25¢ each for the jalapeños & 35¢ each for pico. And their side of cheese is up to $1.09. I realize this is due in part to the inability to reopen their self service salsa bar, but it's still very disappointing. And adds up fast if you order six hard shells at a time & want a side of both for each taco like the boyfriend! I guess what I really disliked about this experience was the order taker's attitude about it. My boyfriend asked when they'd started that & she acted a bit rude in how she reacted, like we should have somehow known that they'd done it months ago! But food was hot & good, atmosphere at this location is premo - love the fireplace & excellent views. Dining room is very comfortable. Was nice & clean & we were greeted upon entering the restaurant, which is nice! Change was just unexpected, but we'll keep coming back. I'm guessing we just won't be ordering many sides of the above.

The assistant GM (Nikki) definitely makes it a great experience. She is always smiling, and very upbeat, and polite... all employees of this establishment and any other employees of any other establishment for that matter, should follow her lead. Cant say enough good things about this store, or its newest assistant GM.....KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!

The guy taking the order just had a monotone and attitude like “how dare you place an order and make me work”. The potato oles were not cooked/fried when we got home, and were just a ball of grease. Obviously taken out of the fryer too soon. Haven’t been to Taco John’s in 3-4 years because of the quality, and won’t be back.
