Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure this place appeals to a certain clientele--but it was not at all what I was expecting. They do not serve alcohol and therefore no margaritas with tequila.I had the taco salad with ground beef and the beef was simply browned--no seasoning at all!! It was watery, the lettuce was slimy and just overall not appealing. The service was great, chips and salsa was good but the style of food is hardly Mexican, more like Midwest church food.

I had a terrible experience. Our food was quick, but when it got there the chicken in my enchiladas smelled off. I'm a chef so I know what bad chicken smells like. I wanted to share these with my baby and obviously couldn't. I let the waitress know and she decided that she suddenly didn't speak enough English to understand me. So I used my limited Spanish to say it was bad. She suddenly remembered English and just told me it wasn't bad a walked away. She didn't come back and we had to ask for the receipt and we still had to pay for the enchiladas no one ate
