Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the butterfly garden. It was very hot outside. The hostess greeted us and brought us to our table. The waitress was friendly and took our order. We received the food promptly. Our food was delicious, but our breadsticks tasted like they have been sitting out for awhile. We appreciated our waitress checking in on us a few times, but she never refilled our water. After the waitress checked in on us the second time, we never saw her again. We are not sure what happened to her, but didn’t feel this was the best customer service. Our son was looking forward to the mints. Although after waiting for 15 - 20 minutes, we decided to leave.

Oh my goodness this was EXACTLY what we needed. The server Galen was on the ball, if we had a need, he took care of it promptly and we never felt we were forgotten even though the restaurant had plenty of customers. Our food was PERFECT and Ooooh Soooo Tasty. I couldn't help but take pictures it was THAT GOOD 😋 We are definitely going back and soon. THANKS FOR THE EXPERIENCE GALEN 😉

We went in a Saturday afternoon to talk about our household budget. Exciting - right??!? Part of the deduction in stars is for the prolonged wait we had to be seated - even at 2 in the afternoon! However, once we were seated, our server was very attentive to our needs. She was polite and friendly- she had worked 6 days in a row and was looking forward to a day off in 2 more days. She seemed fresh and and fun as if she had just had a day or two off! The second deduction was due to pricing - granted, I hadn’t been to an Olive Garden in a while, but I remember larger portions for price - and I was a bit disappointed. Taste, presentation, all was top notch - hence only a 1 star deduction for these two issues. We got some budget stuff completed but had an enjoyable experience anyway 😁

Hello! What a wonderful experience we had Monday, July 27 when we stopped late afternoon! Our server was Lexie (hope I spelled her name correctly) with the red hair. What a fun young lady! She had an awesome sense of humor & was very attentive to what was going on! She'd be a great role model for training new employees!!

Olive Garden as a restaurant has been around a very long time. I have eaten at many across at least 15 States and multiple cities. The Sioux Falls location is certainly one of the better and busier ones. The service was friendly and quick especially considering they had bus loads of High School Track teams eating. The food is the usual fare from Olive Garden and it would be nice to see an update with some new main dishes as well as sides. I often go with the Tour of Italy since it gives the most variety. It's gotten pricey for two people to enjoy a nice meal but that's everywhere currently.

A client had brought me fettuccine Alfredo take home entre. By the time I got done with work it was six hours later but I was starving so I decided to eat it. I was disappointed to find out there was no Alfredo sauce. Basically I think they had forgotten to send it along. I called to tell them what happened. Alex, who must have been the manager on duty, asked me if I would come back there and pick it up. I didn’t really want to but had no choice and I wasn’t that far anyway. So I went to pick it up. Talk about taking care of a situation! He not only gave me a new order with extra Alfredo sauce but he also gave me a gift card for my next meal. I have always loved Olive Garden, and I am absolutely thrilled with how they dealt with this situation. I’ll be a customer for life.

Food was hot and delicious. But I somehow always end up with a new server who I can never get to my table. He brought the water and wanted to drop off the tray before he took my order..when he came back he went to his other tables and cleared plates..umm...other 2 servers took orders and brought out food to tables that arrived after us...my server did not bring our food..guess he thinks it is his job to just bring salad?
