The cinema has alot of theatres for the normal screening. There are also 3 Gold Class movie theatres. Entrance of Golden Village at level 2 and you will need to take the escalator to level 3 where the snacks bar and check in area are. Big space are at level 3 where they will showcase the latest movie figuring and merchandise, hence able to take photo with the latest movie figures.

This is a pretty huge Cineplex and very well maintained at that. Reasonably clean and spacious with sufficient counters to buy food. The toilets though should have been much cleaner especially in the era of Pandemic that we are living in currently 👎 The staff are polite 👍 Seats are spacious with sufficient leg room for comfort. Social distancing bands were placed on chairs to prevent them from being occupied The Aircoln was not very cold inside the movie hall. The hall that we were assigned to watch the movie was a pretty large hall. Two floors inside the golden village -Both Escalator and stairs are available -Bin available outside movie hall and within -Separate sections for gold class and other special halls -Next to 7-eleven -Two spots inside, one on each level to purchase popcorn and other snacks

I’m on a quest to find the best cinemas in Singapore to catch the latest blockbusters. This is one of my favourite locations because it has GVMAX. GVMAX is the 2nd best place to watch movies (behind IMAX). This is especially so if the movie is screening in ATMOS. The sound is absolutely phenomenal in this hall. I watched Spider-Man No Way Home and the ATMOS really made a difference. ATMOS has expansive directional audio. So when the scene was helicopters flying overhead, the sound of the spinning helicopter blades was literally over my head. It felt extremely life like. The picture quality is also wonderful, it is bright and clear. I believe GVMAX is one of the largest (if not the largest) cinema hall in Singapore, given its seating capacity. I love this hall as it also very spacious. There is ample leg room for you to stretch your legs during the movie. There is also no need to squeeze when trying to walk past other patrons as the leg room is really quite wide compared to many other theatres. All in all, if you want a greater cinematic experience but do not wish to spend a lot of money on IMAX, GVMAX is also a great alternative. Please be sure to purchase tickets for ATMOS format if available, as it will really make a difference. Trust me, I have watched too many movies at different cinemas, much to the detriment of my wallet. Nonetheless, the GVMAX (ATMOS) experience is truly worth every cent!

Enjoyed my experience there with my family watching Reunion Dinner after a long time that I haven’t been able to watch movie due to work. It’s very relaxing and clean and comfortable. Good sound system and movie watching experience is awesome! Looking forward to my next experience with Golden Village!
