This was the first time back to this restaurant since it was bought and renovated after the fire of 2008. Gorgeous remodel of such a historic building, I had worked in this building for many years under Chart House and Pettibone’s Tavern. All the meals were delicious and beautiful. Only two minor observations I thought could have made experience better. Our greeting by the hostess was less than enthusiastic and welcoming but I understand we all have bad days and can’t always be delightful. And secondly as a server in fine dining for many years, our dinners were “ auctioned off to us” meaning food runners who brought dinners called out the dinner they were holding to us and we were to raise our hand to let them know who had ordered it. A simple pre set seating chart with a pivot point for waiter knowing what seat 1 is and seat 2 is and so on can eliminate auctioning off food, it is a subtle yet professional service for everyone who works and runs food to know who has what dinner before they get to the table, because sometimes even the guests forget what they ordered but if there was a set seating plan and numbered system this would be eliminated as a problem. The food was prepared and presented beautifully, my risotto was one of the best I have had and complimented the four large Boat Scallops I had for my main dinner and left me feeling full. My server was kind and recognized me from over 12 years ago when he used to be my bus boy at another restaurant, that was nice to see him waiting tables at such a nice establishment as I remembered him as a hard worker. It was my mom’s 80th birthday and Abigail’s made it a special night for my family and myself. Overall experience was excellent, just the two minor aforementioned adjustments would make it even better.
Great place. My steak was cooked perfect and my wife's shrimp scampi was excellent.
I apologize to the very attentive staff for my party of 5's loudness.
Yeah, you remember us. Highly recommend this place.

My first time dining at Abigail’s and they were packed to the gills on a Monday. We had a 20 minute wait with no reservation. We were sat right around 20 minutes, our server greeted us promptly and our drinks, although elaborate, were served very fast. Our appetizer was on the table almost as fast as the bread! For dinner we had a chicken Marsala over gnocchi and a Gorgonzola pork chop. Both were delicious. For dessert we had a slice of cheesecake. We would definitely dine here again.
I wdv given five stars but the coco shrimp was too burnt/over cooked for me. I shdv sent it back but my seemed to like it. The rigatoni pasta was good and the wine was as well. We had a great birthday celebration! Thank you!!
We were in the area and decided to stop for dinner, so we came to Abigail’s after receiving a few suggestions to check it out. We didn’t have reservations, and since it was a Tuesday night we thought we’d be okay without them. We were seated in a little room that felt separate from the restaurant, and we were the only ones in there for a while, so it felt a little cold. This was disappointing because the restaurant looked so charming, but we understood it was probably because we didn’t have a reservation. Our server was very professional and attentive the whole night. The bread at the start of the meal was fantastic, and our appetizers of French onion soup and clams casino were great. My boyfriend ordered the swordfish, and it was fantastic! I had the pappardelle, and I enjoyed the pasta itself because it was homemade, but I didn’t love the bolognese. I thought the sauce was very watery and needed more flavor. It was served in a bowl, so all of the sauce and meat fell into the bottom of the bowl and left the pasta kind of bare. The chocolate mousse cake was great for dessert. Overall, I would come back, but I would make reservations and I would be ordering either steak or seafood for my dinner.
In town for a bit, I took my folks out to lunch here today.
I dig this place. The décor is tasteful. The server was friendly and attentive.
I had the shrimp cocktail and a steak salad. Good things. I'll visit again sometime.
Fantastic dining experience - great service and atmosphere. Everyone was very kind and the food was good. They had good vegetarian options - soups, salad and a summer vegetable and quinoa entree! My table was clean, waiter was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were fantastic! I’d definitely recommend.
We cozied up to the bar this time. Friendly and attentive bartenders. Personable regulars. Great drinks. The margarita pizza was filling, not very flavorful. Definitely want to give the food menu another spin, but I can recommend the drinks and atmosphere.
Food is fantastic! The wings, of all things, were phenomenal. They’re crispy with a hint of buffalo. The crab cakes were the only dish that did not live up to the standard. Service was polite but not as friendly as other establishments we’ve experienced in the area. We noticed the table next to us was presented with the night’s specials but we heard no mention of if from our server. Cute outdoor area however, that seems to be in demand so we were seated indoors where the ambiance was so-so. Will def return especially for the wings. Also curious about the other locations.
