We have tried several Mexican restaurants around town. I have to say the food at La Fogata and their customer service is outstanding!
Everything we have tried so far has been sublime!! That is a big compliment for me...I usually find one dish and will not touch anything else. Don't get me wrong...I like trying different dishes, just have found that one dish is perfect, so why try more? When I do, they are generally not as good. SO, I am saying, they have great food for a special reason π
Recently tried their Signature meal...it had cactus in it and a variety of meats...will be getting THAT again!
Word for the wise: DON'T ORDER THRU APP PLATFORMS. Our first experience, we did...and then had to reorder and wait. Not fun. But the food smelled SO good!! Big fans ever since!
Give this one a try for the BEST Mexican food in our beautiful upstate! π
By far one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. Me and my husband both had California burritos and our son had the 4 enchiladas. The portions were huge and seasoned extremely well.

Awesome, authentic Mexican and great staff. Go several times per month. Owners are great, management too. When you go into a Mexican restaurant and there are a lot of native Hispanics... The food is good. Super quick service as well.

Had the ceviche. Tastes great and fresh. Good portion too. I wish I took a picture of it.
Fish and shrimp "cooked" to perfection. Plus the marinate and fresh ingredients (avocado, cilantro, onions, lime... etc).
There are more traditional forms of ceviche. This one in particular, is pretty darn good.

It was my first time here and I loved it. This just may become one of my new go to spots. The food was great and service excellent.
