Drive way out of our way to get ice cream here on our first date night in 2 years. It’s 20 minutes before they close and the 2 girls won’t even give us the decency of saying “sorry we closed early” they are giving me dirty looks as we stand at the locked door with the OPEN sign still lit. This was a total disappointment.

I could have bought 4 quarts of ice cream. Everyone likes Clod Stone Creamery. Not everyone likes the prices. The flavors of the ice cream are top notch,, creamy (it's in the name) and bold. This delectable meal you see here before you was almost twenty bucks. Granted these were the premium waffle cups and not the smaller size, but still. We didn't even have any add-ins. You also pay for the convenience of having ice cream, and a portable carrying container, and a spoon, and the magic of seeing someone mix your creation on literally a cold stone. You pay for the ambiance of eating out, in store or in the courtyard. We say your paying extra for these things but what you're really paying for is the rent for the building, the franchise rights, and the employees. Cold stone is the best Ice cream near me. I like to take a quart home so I can have it whenever I like, even if that's in the middle of the night. It can be too big of a decision to choose the ice cream and all the mixings I want, so I usually choose something off the wall. I haven't been disappointed. ❤️

Went to Simi Valley I bought 4 small cups of ice cream and a chocolate nut dip waffle cone. The cone was picked from the glass case. I bit into the the chocolate nut cone, it taste like dust had settled on it for over a year. My daughter tried it, said it taste like cleaning spray and my grandson (9yrs) said bad, not fresh.
