Authentic Cafe. A bit over priced, BUT the food is delicious and the amount you do get is tasty! Fun place, great atmosphere Great for a date or just some self time Tomato soup needed salt imo. Pre-covid facts: Open mic every friday Live music every Sat from 7 to 9pm(pre-covid) Mondays have performances highlighting music from different decades.

*5/3/21* Three visits later. The first time I had the chili and the americano, it did not disappoint! The second time, I had the clam chowder, and hubby had the ensemble deal, which was half Cubano (he liked not immensely loved) with a cup of their chili, two thumbs up for the chili; we both love the chili! And my clam chowder had lots of clams, diced potatoes, and herbs; it was simple but flavorful and not overwhelming in clam taste. Which leaves me with today, I had to get a bowl of chili to go, oh yes, and another americano, most definitely four stir-sticks on their americanos! I also had the pleasure of meeting Karl Moffitt; he was charming and personable! Look him up; he has quite the autobiography! Last but not least. the owner Paola, was unpretentious and friendly to a fault! ------------------------------- The Guitar Cafe is like no other. Where else can you take a guitar lesson, have your lunch and live music (pre-covid) all under one roof??? This unpretentious yet trendy, slightly eclectic little cafe offers up two menus, one for food and one for drinks. Looking through their menu, they have a nice variety of food options, but not to the point of being overwhelming, and the prices are within reason! They offer up a few breakfast items, salads, soups, bowls, and sandwiches. I also noticed they have bruschetta, nachos and quesadillas. Did I mention the weekly take-home specials? The drink menu includes coffee's and espressos, milkshakes, frappes, floats, cafe specialty drinks, and even a small wine list!!! I ordered a cup of their chili to go, and yes, a 12oz americano, and as I waited for my food, I looked around a bit. However, knowing nothing about guitars aside from what they are, I found it fascinating all the guitars and accessories they offered up and taking guitar lessons from a known vocalist and musician, Karl Moffitt. Again my knowledge of anything guitar, including Karl Moffitt, is minimal at best! So I grabbed my americano, chili, and chips and went on my way and ate in my car. As I was shoveling in my chili like it was my last meal ever, The bits of meat offered an unidentified but pleasing familiar taste, I noticed how hearty this cup of chili really was; there were many beans and a significant amount of meat that I couldn't figure out, topped with cheddar cheese and onion. I knew this mystery meat wasn't beef or chicken, but I never thought about it being Italian sausage; yes, that was the mystery meat, Italian sausage!! Anyone who wants a spicy heated chili, this isn't for you! Overall, the chili was uniquely good! The americano had a blend of beans that was custom made from Ootopia coffee roasters local to Bremerton. It had floral notes with the background taste of nuts and hints of chocolate. It was a little acidic in flavor, with a slightly bitter aftertaste, a little more so than I care for, but I know plenty of people that would love this coffee! And overall it was good and would buy again! The Guitar Cafe was clean and laid out nicely; the employee working there I felt was maybe the owner, although I can not confirm or deny that, nonetheless, she was personable, friendly, and very welcoming. The Guitar Cafes location is 3381 NW Bucklin Hill Road, Silverdale, WA. It is a little bit hidden; if you're not looking for it, you may not notice it. It lies behind the Mobil Gas station and U Haul dealer, few blocks down from Central Kitsap High School and a couple blocks up from 7-eleven. The Guitar Cafe shares a small parking lot with a couple of other businesses. I would give this Americano a three and a half stir-stick rating! 😁 "Now is the perfect time to support a locally owned small business, like the Guitar Cafe! And please be safe, be happy and be kind to all living things!!"

What a lovely place! They have great food, super kind people and lots of space. The place is clean and well laid out. Loved the music playing and the incredible selection of guitars in their sound-proofed shop inside the cafe. They have vegetarian menu items and are super sweet to the handful of teens who stop in to meet for study sessions here and there. And the sandwiches and salads were great, too! We will be spending more time here for sure!
