I hate that I love this place. It’s like little Ethiopia around the corner. The restaurant aesthetic screams Addis, I could’ve sworn I saw a place like this back home. The music is always on point, no Tizita tough but for good reasons lol.
I gotta say, is anything they could improve on the doors, the entrance door slams so hard behind you it’s like a crack of a shotgun. Then there’s the bathroom door, the men’s specifically, that one is just heavy and closes so damn hard like it doesn’t want you in or out lol.
Overall the store is lovely, the hosts are polite and pretty, bonus. I enjoy coming here and grabbing some tea just for the vibes. Chill

The vegi platter is our go to in my family (meat eaters and vegans) I personally am not a big fan of the beets but everything else is good or better 😋 They use to have vegetable sambusas but the last couple times I've gone, they haven't been available which is disappointing. The service can be slow but overall, I love the food they do have, when I'm there.

Friendly staff and great food. The Ethiopian coffee was excellent. I didn't take a picture of the coffee service but it's definitely a must have. The coffee arrives in an attractive pot with two cups and burning incense. The effect is visual as well as olfactory. The waitress poured what seemed to be a lot of sugar in the cup prior to pouring in the coffee but it was perfect. The coffee was strong but very flavorful. Whatever is done to roast the beans and prep the coffee resulted in me pouring multiple cups!
