Great food, amazing service, and colorful atmosphere. I could tell there were regulars, because the staff greeted them all like family. Loved this place!

We have been coming to Cubano’s for years and have always had a great experience. The service is always friendly and hospitable, and they always go out of their way to make sure our kiddo is having a good time. Their mojitos are fantastic (and strong) and they make a great virgin mojito, too. Their food is also fantastic. Nothing in the DC area comes close to delivering great Cuban food with great service, so we make the trip to Cubano’s from VA when we can. My only complaint is that they used to have Torta Boracha on their menu for dessert, but they took it off years ago and I still miss it!

I've been going to one of my favorite restaurants in Silver Spring, Cubanos, for close to 20 years now, and it's always a great time. The food is delicious and made with love (my go-to is the ropa vieja). There are plenty of gluten-free options on the menu.
The service is always wonderful and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Great for a date night or with a group of friends.

Stopped in here for dinner before the show. Food was delicious! I had the Vaca Frita, Arroz con Moros y Cristianos, Maduros, and Yucca Frita with a Mojito. The tomato and garlic dipping sauce with the yucca was on point! Highly recommend!

Delicious food, great service and a beautiful setting with vibrant colors and wonderful artwork on the walls. Outstanding mojitos, ceviche, traditional beef, pork and seafood. Topped it off with tres leches!

My wife and I went for happy hour, but were delayed by crazy traffic coming from VA. Immediately ordered margaritas and appetizers. We were meeting my daughter and her wife. They arrived first, and had started food and drink. We both ordered 2 margaritas to relax, and catch up on the festivities. The margaritas were too sweet for our tastes. My wife addressed that with an extra shot, then switched to the mohito. Food was better. The mini Cubano was tasty, with a perfectly light crunch. The empenadas were good, and we both liked the dipping sauce. The garlic shrimp was nice, with good pieces of garlic.
Overall I feel a 4 star review is better. Service was spotty, and there's not much ambiance, but the food deserves better than "ok." Worth another visit to try an entrée.

We have been coming to Cubano's for well over 10 years, almost every time we're in town. Our whole family has informal reunions there at least 3 or 4 times a year. The staff is so welcoming and cordial. The ambience appealing. But the food? Well, that is superb and authentic. No matter what we try, it's delicious and plentiful. The variety is excellent. The pricing is on par and not over the top. The desserts are scrumptious...the Flan is perfect! And their Mojotos are legendary. So, what are you waiting for? Once you go, you will want to return many times.

I came here this past Saturday, it was nice, good music playing, not too busy. Loved the service! The server was very attentive, but also not too intrusive. The mojito was made to perfection. I ordered “la ropa vieja” and it was fantastic. I love how everything complimented so well. The food came out at a good pace. We got the tres leches for dessert and it was amazing. Definitely will come back :) it was also my first time coming.

I stopped by Cubanos the other day for a quick lunch with a dear old friend. It had been ten years, but their classic Cuban sandwich con papas fritas satisfied me the same way it did all those years ago. Delectable, juicy, and packed with flavor. The service was amazing and extremely accommodating.

Idk where I've been but clearly I've been missing out!
I was in the area and stopped by to pick up some food and decided on the Churrasco a la Brasa which is flank steak served with rice, black beans and plantains.
While waiting for my food, Alex asked me if I wanted a drink. I tried the mojito. Omg, omg, omggggg it was SO good. I won't lie, I felt a bit tipsy afterwards too lol. The mojito came with raw sugarcane, a nice little touch.
The meal was VERY delicious. The steak was seasoned well and so tender. The only bummer was that they forgot to give me the chimichurri for the steak. I love that sauce and I'm sure it would've made the steak go from a 10 to a 15.
Overall, great experience. Loved the ambience. Staff was awesome and I would love to go back soon.
