Food is excellent; the hot German potato salad is best I've ever had. Great staff, clean, dog friendly (my dog got complimentary bacon and her own water bowl).
The food, Desert and people a are great. A good place you can count on to enjoy going out to eat.
The food was fantastic! I had the meat quiche and home fries. My husband had the hashbrowns scramble and he loved it. The owner and the waitress were very nice even though they were slammed as soon as we walked in. The wait was well worth the food! Don't miss breakfast here! It is also dog friendly.
Great place and great food. Plus, you allowed to bring your well behaved dog with you. We were in the Silver City area for a day trip. We had a 4 month old well behaved puppy with us. They allowed us to bring him inside so long in that he was well behaved. They do have tables outside for pet owners that don't feel comfortable bringing their dog inside.
Food was awesome from mine and my wife's point of view.
Staff and Owners are very friendly and courteous.

Vicki's eatery was an oasis of friendly service and good food. My wife and I ate here for dinner and they were very kind and sweet to us, as well as our pupper. The owner (I presume) came with a water bowl and treat for our dog, since she was nervous with some fireworks going off sporadically. The owner was nice and full of conversation, which made for a great evening. The atmosphere was perfect and I would absolutely recommend this eatery to anyone traveling in the region.

I had two meals here while visiting Silver City, breakfast and a pasta dish. I cleared my plate both times. Food and service were both very good. The place is homey and comfortable feeling, the staff was friendly and wait times were short. I remember an especially good soup of the day. If you're fortunate you may get a greeting from the nice owners too. Highly recommended! Dog Friendly too!
Hit Vickie's for breakfast on one of the two busiest weekends of the year. Our party of four had a long wait to get in but the management told us upfront what to expect. They got us in a little quicker than expected. The wait staff in this 100+ year old building were very friendly. The food was excellent! Great experience.
Great place to stop in for lunch and escape the heat while walking around downtown silver. The food is great and fresh and largely very light and healthy. Doggos are allowed. Which was a huge plus. If you haven't checked it out, get in there and have some lunch. Breakfast is probably just as amazing.

Unfortunately this is a negative review. I will keep the rating at 4 stars because I don’t believe in discouraging people from trying an establishment.
1. Our food for four took an hour without filling us in on the situation, or offering something pre-made like cake or pastry.
2. One of us found a bone in our home fires
3. Our food was lukewarm; some plates completely cold and another half warm half cold.
On the positive side our dog was welcomed inside. My Southwest Benedict was delicious, the green Chile was just hot enough to be enjoyable, though the Bennie did lack paprika at first. The staff was extremely kind and peppy. I loved April and her coworker who resolved the issue quickly. I honestly have to point to our disappointment at a lack of management support. These two girls were left without a manager, hostess or expo. How disappointing in the owner and manager to let down their team during a rush on a weekend. Extremely disappointing. Cooking time is manageable and so is food temperature, but without proper management and support everything falls apart.
I would not be return any time soon. Hopefully the management will have a turnover to someone who is supportive. Till then....
