Beautiful, cozy little spot. Service was very friendly and efficient. The French onion soup was great. The duck was very good, but I should have ordered it Medium to give it a little more time to render fat and break it down a bit. Roasted potatoes we're great, the other sides good enough. The chocolate mousse also great!

It is an adorable cozy restaurant in a cool historic building. It was nicely attended (tho not crowded or noisy). The food was excellent, everything we had was delicious. Parking was on the street a couple blocks away but it was a lovely day so it was a nice walk. It's a lovely little town.

First off, they post that dogs are welcome. This is AWESOME! Secondly, if you're familiar with my cleanliness standard from past reviews then you'll appreciate this one. Service, Food: Awesome. Cleanliness of the table & eating areas: Decent but not as clean as it could be. Our waitress placed one of the menus on top of my napkin which I use to wipe my mouth off with so I don't want other guest's dirty hands on my mouth & getting me sick. It's called transference contamination. Cleanliness of the general area: Good. Cleanliness of the restrooms: - It was ok. The sink is too high. It's a bigger, less claustrophobic-inducing than the other, smaller bathroom but the sink is too high. - There is no plastic bag inside the wastebasket so when your employees must empty it throughout the day they're turning it over inside another trash can - the movement of the trash falling towards their hand/arm (the other hand that's holding onto the bag that the trash is going into) is going to be contaminated by the flying trash. Now, i dont want to gross the reader's out so I'll just say I saw a feminine sanitary product in the trash that the employee would've had to deal with. If you can simply empty the trash by picking up the bag that's in the basket, then, all the more better! - The light switch had a huge BLACK spot on & surrounding it. Meaning it had not been cleaned off in a while. Other people entering will want to turn the light on & possibly fumble around looking for it which means the black on the wall is from dirty hands. If you can't keep lightswitches clean, then, what else is not clean? (Menus, perhaps?) - Same of the entryway door: black dirty spots all over it from people exiting with dirty hands. ... If people use the restroom after or during the meal then they wash their hands, right? Not necessarily, which means the black build-up is because people DON'T wash their hands (or don't do it well enough) so while you may clean the glass of the exit door, this does nothing for the dirty wood. So, do you not wipe off the chairs, the tables, anything else? A 4th star would've been given had the restaurant been more focused on cleanliness. Another (5th) star possible if they get rid of some tables to make it a less crowded, claustrophobic environment. The only reason you receive 3stars & not less is because of great service & food otherwise you'd be receiving 1-star.

My wife and I stopped by for the New Years Special Prix Fixe meal. The food earned 3 stars, but the service and ambiance earned 5 stars. This is an outstanding place for an elegant and special meal.

Lovely place for a quiet meal and good conversation. The food was beyond amazing, our desert was fantastic, and the owner welcomed us, made sure everything was to our satisfaction, and recommended a fantastic dessert. 10 stars!

A unique, French-themed bistro. Very nice and friendly staff. Not the least expensive place in town but not that expensive, either. Strongly recommended.

Husband and I were visiting from out of town and were recommended to come here for a nice dinner. They we're able to accommodate reservation with ease. Service was great and parking was easy to find. Food was okay, the French onion soup was a too salty and the cheese was in large clumps but taste was pretty good. I had the steak with peppercorn sauce and the frites which was delicious. Overall a good experience.
